Default Help Us Decide On Membership Price

Hey everyone, I have some great news for Black Hat World!

Over the past month or so I have been talking with Cory (from cookie stuffer) and we have decided to team up and offer a new monthly membership for blackhatworld.com. Before you start running for the hills saying this is the end of an era for BHW, you are completely wrong. NOTHING is going to change; the forums will remain FREE for everyone. I am still the owner of BHW. Cory and I will simply be managing the membership services. Things are only going to improve!

Those users that decide to pay a small monthly fee will have exclusive access to the cookie stuffer script and other private stock of tools (which only Cory uses and has never sold), great content, interviews with well known gurus-these guys charge $1000.00 per person at their seminars- and anything else you would like to see. New tools will be added to the Membership throughout the year and existing tools updated when needed.

Since this membership is for *YOU* we would like to find out how much a service like this would be worth to you and if there is anything else you would want to see included in the membership. We are going to offer as much value for your money as possible, so keep in mind that the more you pay the more resources we can devote to improving the tools and membership area. Please use the poll above and vote for the price you would be willing to pay per month.
Thank you

-Diamond Dave and Cory Beckwith

I have casted my vote. If this membership is going to be available to all then the price should not be more than $19.99 however, if you both plan to have for just a limited number of members, I will go for $67.9.

Great idea and I appreciate it.

Sounds great, the little donation that some of us make...cant even remember how much it is per year is nothing for such a great resource. The fact that you are now offering even more for a tiny monthly fee is great news. Can't wait to see it go live. Great work as always Dave

I think $19.95 would be a good prize to pay for a membership, i have done my share of $97- memberships and all i can say is that 99% of the time it is wasted money and i will never pay that kind of money again for a membership site.

I think the price should be at least $50 a month and a limit placed on membership so that tools/information are kept in a small group.

The higher price might also keep out some of the crazies who have been known to waste time with nonsense posts and flame fests

19.95 seems like a good price.

I would pay 67.00 a month ONLY if it is a limited memberships exclucively. Say 200 persons or less. I was once a menber or a payed forum, the owners advertised 300 members and we were paying 45 bucks a month. After 2 months I observed the registered users incrreased to 1484! So I emailed the owner enquiring, he stated that he had made the offer open. I immediately ceased being a member.

Although most of the material were good, it was PLR stuff that was readily available on the net FREELY if one only I had done a proper search.

I agree with Easy...$50 is good value.

I did post a while back about imposing a membership, some people come with the excuse "We are here to share, blah blah blah" and dont want to "get the snake out of their pockets"... I think it will be really productive. As Dave suggested, some parts will be of exclusive access to paying members and Im pretty sure it will stop the flow of stolen goodies out of BHW to other sites where people charge miserable amounts of money and create some half ass written ebooks.

Wonder why the riches only live in closed communities?

Dave, the biggest problem facing a Membership site, is not getting members... it's keeping them. You'll get 'em in at a high price, but once the novelty wears off, they'll desert you in no time. Then you're stuck with the never ending job of recruiting more and more members.

My vote goes to $19.95.

I am already paying via the donate option --- and you want more from me????
... lifeblood being sucked out ...

If you want more money from us, you need to give us a stronger hint of these extra free tools mentioned in the email.

I am puzzled though as to why the forum is open to the public. Everyone should be as a minimum on your donate list. I suggest you close off the threads to those not donors.

I think that 10 bucks per year is a good amount. I would be willing to pay it for access to those services

At $19.95 a month that's almost $48,000 a year with just 200 members. I would think that's kewl. Even $14.95 I feel is fair. I'll go with the flow..... Whatever that's going to be.
