$19.95 - 176 votes - income $3511.20
$29.95 - 23 votes - income $688.85
$49.95 - 17 votes - income $849.15
$97.95 - 17 votes - income $1665.15

I ignored the one vote for $67.95 and assumed that $29.96 was a misprint.

It seems fairly obvious that the most income for you guys is the cheapest option and it's likely that a good number of the people who voted for the higher amounts would actually join for a lower subscription (even if just to check it out).

You've got an obvious 2 tier structure - lower at $19.95 and higher at either $97.95 or some number that the $49.95 people might be persuaded to jump to. It's a no-brainer.

OTOH just because someone voted for the price it doesn't mean they'll join.
Thats true to a certain extent but if you include the server and bandwidth it takes to host a ton of users using client server apps you have a great deal of over head AND you have a boat load of tech support. Those are also BIG factors in pricing.

I just hope a reasonable price can be decided especially for the owners of the tool. Anything worthy to my business I’ll happily invest. My point is nobody should even be having this debate, nobody knows what the service is offering.

The best stuff is always free to every one
Take all the SEO forums that are Pay per Month
If the guys where that good at SEO
Why would they need to charge they own sites would easily cover the costs?
And if they needed to make more cash why not show the way and then take a percentage?

Hello to all BHW members!

I am quite new as a member of this forum, however Ive been reading this outstandig forums for a long time.

Here goes my 2 cents:

I have allways dreamed about membership site where all of the
contributors have to participate (like all will install software which
autopings others blogs, view no-voiced youtube videos in the background
influence the stats numbers by fake visiting with curl and hell
lot of other ideas where a lot of ips and trusted people are needed)

Basicaly saying, make it affordable (cheap) and require participation in
projects like the above ones. Giving members also an opportunity to vote
what we do install in lets say Juli.

Hope somebody consider that sh*t i wrote

I think 97.95 a year would be a fair price to start off with dave

ClownSoup.. your a funny guy.. I like you already

I agree, can we get this sorted out. I really want to get the CS script.

I think it is only fair for the guys that have already purchased it to get credit for membership.

If this is so then I will purchase now. time to sort it all out...

Yes, the hardest part of keeping members in an exclusive membership is supplying consistent quality content.

I was one of the original members of the Warrior Alliance since Allen Says was running it... and at the end.. all he ended up doing was he supplying PLR articles.
He either ran out of time, patience or quality content and thus demise. That was $67PM.
Was also a member of John Reese's $99 Per Month membership... wasn't that great for the cost either.

Was seriously considering buying Cookie Stuffer, until this membership offer came around.... so I would be in just based on that.

Cool Re: Help Us Decide On Membership Price

19.95 monthly or discounts for paying 3, 6, 9 or 12 months in advance. One thing I think should be done is for this forum to be member only (pay or free). Right now anyone cruising by can read the posts and pass on the knowledge to the wrong people (affiliate networks, etc). It won't keep everyone out but at the same time it can't hurt.

A BHW Noob's 2 cents worth.

Exclamation Re: Help Us Decide On Membership Price

I'd like to put forth a different business model, (even though I polled for $19.95 - since there were no other choices available)

Firstly, some very valid points have been made by the following:
nicho
phpnull
solobeton
PhiltheBear

My idea is this:

Regular users should not be charged.

When I look at the membership list, I can see that there are many members who have not made or have made very few posts/contributions. They should be approached and asked to pay a membership fee, let's say $20/month, otherwise they should be deleted form the forum. This will clean up the membership list somewhat.

Membership to the forum should then be advertised to people not already on the list for about $30 - $50/month.

Any special programs should be offered for a small fee, lets say $10 - $30 to ALL paid members. That should increase the mullah in the coffers of those running the forum.

As mentioned by one of the members above, there should be a 3/6/12month option of paying for membership.

I think this poll is kind of pointless. 98% of the people here are going to vote for the cheapest option possible... If we set the price at 1 penny, it would still dominate the polls.

My take

The more you decide on charging the more proof you will need to provide that the tools/concepts systems work. I would speculate 19.99 on a private forum just for the sharing of ideas behind closed doors....BUT at the other end of the scale 99 usd I would want HARD RECENT FACTS that the tools etc WORK and produce INCOME.

Over the years there have been a number of tools / systems that claim all sorts of things perfect example being PGI, most of the real players left after it became obvious that the system did NOT work. Desperate acolytes remain swallowing hook line and sinker any crap that the owner comes out with.Other examples SSEC,Botcandy,Niches in a Box..........they all claim to offer the solution.....and when people actually use them hard core they are worthlesss.

The cynic in me asks myself if these "private never released tools" WORK why release them? Why not just outsource and milk the tools for all they are worth.

Been in the business long enough to see private tools that have stopped working THEN released to the hopeful masses.

So I would suggest 19.99 other wise you are gonna have to provide a lot of documentary proof of claims made. Sorry but thats the way it is these days......many of us will just read stand back and say "prove it"

Rob
