We really appreciate everyone's input. Each post has been read and I will talk things over with Cory to come up with the best plan. We may decide on having two membership levels as "revax" pointed out with the upper level having a membership cap. We are busy getting things ready behind the scenes and our goal is to launch the membership by the end of May.

Just to Clarify things, yes the V.I.P will remain invite only.

Would you consider a lifetime membership model?

Its very successful on some forums (OT)... they sell memberships in 3 months, 1 year and monthly.... just last year they added lifetime.

Guys $19 bucks isnt a cheap fee.
YOU WILL BE MAKING A FORTUNE just from that.
How about $10 you will still be able to buy a new house and life very well?

hmmmm?

Over the past month or so I have been talking with Cory (from cookie stuffer) and we have decided to team up and offer a new monthly membership for blackhatworld.com. Before you start running for the hills saying this is the end of an era for BHW, you are completely wrong. NOTHING is going to change; the forums will remain FREE for everyone. I am still the owner of BHW. Cory and I will simply be managing the membership services. Things are only going to improve!

Those users that decide to pay a small monthly fee will have exclusive access to the cookie stuffer script and other private stock of tools (which only Cory uses and has never sold), great content, interviews with well known gurus-these guys charge $1000.00 per person at their seminars- and anything else you would like to see. New tools will be added to the Membership throughout the year and existing tools updated when needed.

Since this membership is for *YOU* we would like to find out how much a service like this would be worth to you and if there is anything else you would want to see included in the membership. We are going to offer as much value for your money as possible, so keep in mind that the more you pay the more resources we can devote to improving the tools and membership area. Please use the poll above and vote for the price you would be willing to pay per month.
Thank you

Hi,
I think 19.95 is good, the forum is definitely good enough for paid membership and of course I picked the cheapest option

One question how does this affect people that bought Cory's CS? Will we still get the support?

well what about the guys who allready got CS for themself for about 250 bucks....?
also i was thinking it is giving and taking.
if you should have to pay for such service i guess most users will drop of the board and are going to some of the other black hat sites which are around.

and why should i pay for some tools i get somewhere for free?
or will you offer tools like xrumer for free which would be a possible reason for 9 bucks a month?

i personally would pay 0 cent for this service because i consider it as a ripoff of the ppls.

Thanks for the explanation. Now I understand the value. It definitely worth more than $100 a month. But too bad I already casted my vote. The details should have mentioned in the beginning of the thread.

Let me answer to just a few things that I can. The tools you can use will be my own personal stock - I've never sold them or let anyone use them before (except for cookie stuffer recently). The other tools without saying too much are serious money makers as is CS. So you see your membership will be far more then off set by using these tool.

You'd have to pay thousands of dollars for them on the open market if you could find tools like them. Personally I'm not in the "junk tool" business and until CS I only wrote tools for top gurus and myself -- thats it.

What type of tools was asked -- obviously Cookie Stuffer would be one. Others will include tools that cloak, stuff, summons spiders and get sites index in minutes (not months), Mass produce sites (cloaked or dynamic) - a 1000 sites across many domains or sub domains at the press of a button.

There are a few tools I'm not willing to discuss here in an open forum -- but those are a glimpse of the tool types going in to the pot.

You also have to understand -- you that are members will have input and can contribute as to what type of tools you'd like to see and if it's a workable idea ... I think you get the picture.

I'm really short changing the value of all my tools and future tools for the sake of making a community of black hat winners for a change. I feel that in itself is a chance I'm taking. Instead of selling my tools on the open market where I know I could make a lot more money. This is about building something of value that will last where YOU have input.

Kind of empowering if you think about the possibilities ....

That is just the tools side of the membership. There is also the advantage of knowing and being able to talk to top guru's in the industry and ask them not only questions but 'how to's.'

Basically, BHW will become the king of marketing communities IF you are a serious player, want to make a living on-line and are willing to help make that happen.

If you are not -- the forum is still free to you (aside from the tools, marketing gurus and things that go with that.) So all were trying to do here is add value to BHW for you.

I guess this general attitude is what would worry me. I accept the idea of a thin client as a getaround but I think you need to be realistic.

Firstly, the vast majority of people who are on this board are here because they can get something for nothing. So, I think it's unlikely that they'll pay to join anything.

And, I'm afraid I never use stuff that isn't under my control. If I don't own it I'll find an alternative that I can own - largely because I've joined too many subscription type software services that suddenly jack up prices when you are locked in to using their tools.

So, you need to be aware that if you offer software that people can download and use then it'll be available to everyone and his dog within 24 hours. And, if you offer hosted only software then you are going to find you have a fairly small take up.

One other thing - a lot of people here don't do anything with the stuff they get. Sure, they'll read the latest guru ebook because they can download it for nothing but they won't apply anything in it. For those people access to tools will be pointless - they won't use them. They'll join for a month to have a look around and then fade away. And they won't join at all if the price level set is high.

Personally, I reward for value. So, if any of the things I gather from this site add value to my business I'll donate to the site and be happy to do so. Sadly, it hasn't happened yet - but I hope it will - and I hope you manage to work out a fair and equitable way of accomplishing what you are trying to do.

I look forward to your decision.

So your setting the yearly cost at $240 (rounded). If you give the value promised I'm in. But that is a big IF... no offense. I have joined a number of sites promising the moon and delivering regurgitated info that can be found for free.

I am thinking that there will be more than just the CS.
