Thought Everyone Should Be Aware of Spammer23

I found out the other day that Spammer23 has been selling advertising space on my forum for hundreds of dollars. I'm sure you all saw the "Announcements" which were just spammy notices trying to get you to give him your hard earned money. I really can't believe someone would do this especially as a Moderator...He did this without my knowledge, without asking me, without giving me anything in return.

Below is one of the PMs I got yesterday.

Your moderator spammer23 has taken my money (250$) and promised me to attach my advertising thread at the top of all forums for a 3 weeks
Yesterday he has do it, but today i see my thread is removed.
I dont want to make you troubles and I demand to return my money back,

I asked Spammer23 to refund this persons money but he has not. Spammer if you are reading this you need to refund this persons money. It's the only right thing to do.

To make matters worse I received another PM from SoupNazi stating he didn't receive any product or service from when he purchased PMblaster. He sent you several PMs and you have not responded. Please refund his account as well Paypal Receipt Number: 2260-7178-7155-5280

I am giving Spammer23 24 hours to refund payments metioned above or else he will be banned from this Forum!

I tried warning people about this at this forum and was banned for that. Tried to do the same thing with this account and all of my posts were deleted. People are way to naive in this forum, you should be aware of who you give your hard earned money to. His name is not spammer for no reason, and I hope someone slaps him with a lawsuit.

Oh and by the way Dave, Spammer is not the only one stealing from these poor people, there is a whole bunch of his supporters here who should also take some responsibility of promoting his ideas and lying to the people. One of them is Diabolic for sure and the others I can't remember at the moment but I am pretty sure if you read a few of Spammers posts you will figure out who they are easily.

I'm curious how spammer23 became moderator of this forum, do you know him in person Dave?

No I do not know him at all...Several months ago he Pmed me, asking me if he could be moderator. This was when I had started my new job and thought the forum could benefit from someone looking after it (because I couldn't)
Apparently spammer was just looking after himself.

Well depending on how you paid for things you have options. I for one sent him money through paypal. I have notified paypal of what's going on and have opened a dispute and escalated. Hopefully I get my money back. I knew something was fishy when he dissapeared all of a sudden. But if you track his activity he has been frequenting the boards around midnight but not doing anything. I kow he is reading these posts. Spammer23, do the right thing this crowd is not the type you want to dupe for a couple hundred bucks each

As far as I know PayPal doesn't give a refund for products that are not physically shipped. We all know that spammer is reading all the post's just that this time he can't delete them. If more people open disputes against him maybe you can get the money back from him.

I've gotten my money back several times from paypal for electronic purchases which turned out to be scams. Heck when I sold $2 eBooks on eBay people would do chargebacks and disputes lol

You can get your money back through paypal in three ways.
1. "Claim Unauthorized charge"...meaning that you didn't actually make payment (someone else did). This means you have to lie which can get you cornered if you really have been scammed it doesn't hurt to scam a scammer.

2. Claim you never received anything from the seller. You must clearly state the facts, and also tell them that if they do not refund your money you will do a chargeback on your credit card. Paypal hates chargebacks, and if the chargeback is successful, paypal will charge the other person a $25.00 fee which is always a nice kick in the butt! Also their paypal account will definitely be marked by this and can only sustain so many chargebacks before they will be forced to close the paypal account.


3. Claim the item is materially different than said to be. Though it may be harder with electronic purchases. Say you bought a piece of software that was suppost to work and didn't. Well that is diffently different to what you thought you were buying!

If paypal won't listen I suggest you just do a chargeback on your credit card. Most credit cards allow you make a chargeback up to 60-90 days. If you paid by paypal funds, you are in a tighter spot and will have to rely on paypal.

Well do you honestly think there will be any type of support or upgrades to this software? If they seriously just took off then i really don't mind getting my 2 bills back for something different then expected to be...(false advertising)...?

I do not wish to do this and then they come back out of nowhere and start offering upgrades and support again lol

He is just have no choice ,otherwise everybody shall not trust this board (and administration) any more
