    Default facebook ads and clickbank

    Hi,

I'm trying to advertise a clickbank ebook (fitness) on facebook but all of my ad versions (i tried 5 versions so far) got declined. Fb always refers to their advertisers guidelines chapter 3, 13 and 14....but I have no clue, what i should edit....

Anyone here got the same problems and got them solved? Is clickbank resp. the ebook the source of this problem?

    Bests,
    Wini23

90% of ads get declined. You just need to keep creating ads and hoping that one of them works. So just create like 5 at time and maybe one works... maybe it wont..

    Thx 4 input folks.
I tried with the financial ebook 3 different ad copies but get also declined.
But i tried to promote one of my own landing pages (no ebooks or stuff like this) and get in!

Have anyone here tested to paste a link to a lp which sells "legit" products and after the ad gets approved redirect the link to clickbank?

Maybe I should try this, because it seems not very beneficial to me to build a lp for a clickbank ebook and link the traffic after they click the buy button to the original clickbank lp...

Just tell Fuckbook to fuck off. I had periods where i liked them, but frankly i don't have the time or energy to get 1 in 5-500 ads approved anymore. I mean spend time messing with ads and lps, get disapproved, rinse, repeat, disapproved, rinse, repeat, test, see weak roi... I finally decided it made no sense, actually, it no longer made any sense at all. Especially when you see Fuckbook covered in gambling ads and the old "make $5k from Google" crap. I mean how the fuck did those get in?!

I fucking hate Facebook, their double standards, lack of consistency and stupid review process.

    Thx 4 your input.
I've made the experience, that social media traffic won't buy anything - so I thought that an eBook will rather sell than any "legit" products...but I will try to advertise ringtones....

Bullshit. You can direct link - when creating the ad just make sure the terms are clearly stated, e.g. if it was a CPA offer for something "free" state the requirements.

Say it was for a free trial of Acai Berry and they charge you after the first month if you don't request a refund.

    Example ad:

    Title
    Photo
Sign up for a one month free trial of Acai Berry. You can cancel anytime before your one month free trial is over.

Please note, this ad may or may not work.

    Status report:
My first ad (no affiliate network landing page, not an english ad & lp) is running in facebook.
The 2 ebooks from clickbank were still declined (i've tried 5 ad versions with no.1 and 2 versions with no.2). I've also opened a new subdomain for redirection of one ad but the ad gets also declined. Perhaps I stick it with clickbank & fb now...

At last I have created 2 ads for a ringtone site but they get also declined (okay, I have not mentioned the subscription fee 4 the ringtones ). Maybe I try for the ringtones a few more ads.....but I must admit:

The advertising guidelines of fb SUXXXX!

My conclusions after advertising on facebook for 2-3 weeks now:

    • You can promote everything on facebook without getting your ads rejected as long as you don't promote ebooks.
    • If you promote ebooks, they must be serious (otherwise your ads get declined).
    • It doesn't really matter if you direct link to your merchant or not.
    • You can get cheap CPC rates if you keep on optimizing your ads (like on adwords).
    • After about 400 clicks I must say: Facebook users don't buy anything... I haven't made a conversion so far!!

I keep on testing if there is something which works - but until now you should better advertise using AdWords than social media...

The problem is not the PPC (or CPM) price and not the approvement of ads - the problem is the conversion rate. FB traffic just doesn't seem to convert. I have not managed to get a single conversion by FB ads yet. That is really wicked...

Perhaps I should ask Shoemoney about how he managed it to get money with FB ads.

I got all my campaigns approved 100%. you can redirect links you are promoting. I also bid for as low as $0.02 with high impressions. of course I get low CTR, but it's worth it when they buy my product that costs from $37 to $999. don't give up on FB ads. It's a good way also to brand your product.

@kiangan: What kind of products do you promote via fb? And how high is the suggest bid price per click when you buy clicks at the price of 2 pennies?

I just got hosed on FB last night.

Bought 20 FB VCCs (from a couple of vendors from here).

I'm an affiliate for MarketHealth and they're paying $35 for CPS on many of their offers.

Used direct linkng, but I used a URL shortener in the FB URL space (I used cli.gs because I like the analytics). Had several different versions of a tooth whitening ad.

Posted all 20 ads from 20 different accounts. Each time I posted, I closed all browsers, clear ALL cookies/temp files with batch files for both IE and FF and then scroll ed my public IP and spoofed user agent with ProxyFirewall (checked it each time with GRC dot com Shield's Up product, which is one of the best I've found to run on the web to really CONFIRM whta you look like to web servers/other boxes online).

Then would register a new FB account with info, activate account, do the VISA business network thing, make my ad and add it.

The ad would last for about 20 minutes and then BAM. 'Your account has been disabled'.

I have done ads on FB before but I have NEVER gotten my actual account disabled before.

I'm a little stumped. I used to thing that I was running a top game against FB but now I am beginning to doubt my cloaking.

What do you guys think? Was it just that affilitate that they hate? Do they disallow URL shortening?

Yipes. Just lost some money. Oh well.

    Cheers

    A

did your FB accounts have friends and status updates?
If not then that would have been a red flag.
if you're picking up new FB accounts, get some friends and posts added while you are at it. You don't need thousands of friends just 100-200. Something that looks natural.

then post some 'hey look at this funny stuff..." everyday.
you can even set up status updates every 4-8 hours from twiiterfeed

on behalf of facebook, your account was disabled due to:

    Code:
We have disabled your account because you recently activated the Visa
small business coupon to advertise content that is not in accordance
with this promotion's terms and conditions. We apologize for any
inconvenience this may cause, but you will no longer be able to access

    Honestly,

I don't have that much of a problem getting ads approved. You just have to follow their guidelines. It sucks that they take so long to approve them. Facebook loves to rape me of money.
