Hi guys,

My friend from Megaupload knows as Bramos is in jail now as he has been arrested by the FBI in New Zealand. We as friends started a FB page and Youtube video. We would like to create a buzz around Facebook and hopefully in blogs around the world. Who can help me with this as I am sure there are people that liked Megaupload a lot and would like to support this technical brain of Megaupload! We gave the project name: #FreeBramos

well I aint an expert in this field , but I can tell you how sorry I feel for him. This is just pure injustice , cant even imagine how he must be feeling right now knowing he is probably gonna be extradicted to the US.

What people are forgetting is that this has nothing to do with SOPA - they were done for money laundering and a number of other illegal activities.

I do, however, feel angry at the fact the US thinks they can govern the world. For example - TVShack (if I remember rightly) wasn't breaking any UK laws which is where everything was hosted etc, and yet the US seized the site and extradited him. He was done under US law. WTF??? This isn't a stab at the US, just the corrupt government.

I'm seriously concerned about where this planet is heading.

Considering these guys made over $50M/yr I'm sure they can mount their own defense and run a real PR campaign if necessary.

I don't think they're gonna free someone who was involved so heavily in a lot of illegal activity because of a youtube video/FB page. I respect your attitude though. It's good to see you're willing to do what you can.

If it was purely over having a site that happened to have a bit of pirated material then fair enough but the fact is they paid for pirated material and profited off it. Millions a year.

Maybe start a campaign:

"F&@$ off and keep your laws to yourself".

That's something I would back completely. I don't know how the world has come to this. Or maybe I'm overreacting.

Seriously though the shit with tvshack is ridiculous. Megaupload is a whole different beast though. It appears our justice department has been bought and paid for by Hollywood elites.

Pulling emotional strings here wont get you far ( a father, a good guy, etc ) If you want to get anywhere with this you need to lay down some cold hard facts in your video that protect them against the allegations.
