Facebook and security
So, I am going to do this facebook thing and try to make some money.
I dont have money to buy proxies, but i am willing to invest later.
Is there any other way to protect my accounts? What about free proxies?
Tnx

Re: Facebook and security
"thing" - make lots of accounts and make fan pages.
You have lots of accounts and you access them all from same IP?

Re: Facebook and security
Keep in mind most free proxies are more abused than your home IP will ever be.

I could not agree with TermsB more. It would be much safer to create and use as many accounts as you possibly can from your home IP. Is your home IP static or dynamic? If it is dynamic, you will be able to create and maintain a lot more FB accounts rather than if it were static. Also, if you are going to be creating fan pages, I highly suggest you create them from PVAs. Also, to be safe, I would create only one fan page per account. You can get away with more, but if your pages are going to be violating FB's TOS, I would not risk it. I can phone verify any FB account(s) you might have with USA numbers for a very cheap price.

Re: Facebook and security
You really should have proxies - they are vital. Watch out using free proxies as other people use them etc etc.
Borrow a small amount off a friend and pay them back when the cash is rolling in
Otherwise, risk it

I have dynamic IP address. To be safe should I disconnect and then connect again to my wireless connection so IP changes? Clean cookies maybe?

I will invest in proxies soon as possible. Can you tell me how much proxies do I need? One proxy per account?
Tnx

Re: Facebook and security
Yes the dynamic account should be "ok". Give it a try until you get some proxies. Make sure your ip has changed. Google "whats my ip" or something like that to find your ip.

Yes, whenever you feel the need, disconnect and reconnect to your wireless connection so you can get a new IP. Always clear cookies/cache/etc. - I recommend CCleaner (CCleaner.com).
You can use up to five IPs per account, but if you would like to play it safe, use two-three IPs per account.

Re: Facebook and security
I second the idea of using ccleaner! absolutely great program.
Facebook was hounding me down about multiple account use until I started clearing cookies, cache, etc. in between account logins.
I also recommend waiting 1 - 5 min (minimum) in between account switches.

Re: Facebook and security
invest on proxies. just start with a handful and as you earn increase it. there are available cheap and dependable proxies around here. its better doing some precautionary measures than ending up with nothing after all your hard work
