Can we again have a thread, and sticky it, as to what the value of fan pages are? Everyday, more and more noobs come on , and dont realize the power or cost of these things. For example, an offer of $50 for a 100k page. I think this would cut down on alot of useless posts and people looking for things they cant afford, or talking about things they have no clue about. Thanks.

perhaps people can get a BST thread approved and they can post their price range for the pages they have available.

Its a shame i made a page a few week ago on how much pages are worth.

$50? Thats the price to create a regular user account with 5K friends. To have a 100k page created is more like $500 bucks.

Are you certain on that?
Pages are $5/1k fans?

For a free lancer to build one from scratch for you, the lowest I have seen is about $1/100 fans.

Now maybe people who have accidential fanpages that grew big with no work will sell less than that.

If page is whitehat (not breaking fb rules), price can go up to 1k for 100k fans.
But there are some businessmen who are ready to pay up to $1 or more for 10 highly targeted fans who will probably buy their services later. It's same as FB ads, just after you get fans, you don't need to buy new ads to get clicks (and buyers).

a 100k fans values 1000$ maximum normal rate, 50$? lol i would sell my fan pages for 0.005 to 0.01 per fan. 100k fans values from 500 to 1000 or more if your fans are quality.

Sounds about right.

Yup, that is the standard rate. However, some people will go lower, such as the OP. At least he was willing to go lower for a friend of mine. He is a top-notch guy who knows how to make fan pages go viral and he always has them in stock!

Peter, can we sticky this thread? Or not necessarily this thread? I remember the other one you started, but its not a sticky, and no noobs read it. I think it just needs to be something that people know before jumping into FB. Its not a cheap game, and it will in turn, save the longevity of the FB game, by not letting the noobs mess it up. I understand everytime is new at one time, but some things that are asked in this section are getting insane, and it is so repetitive.

Here is the first problem with pages -

(1) if you have a page like "OMG I love when my boyfriend texts me hehe" and it gets something like 300k members.
How can you compare that with a generic name like "Exotic Sports cars"

(2) how can you tell if the page has been built using mafia wars people? If its just used a shit load of fake accounts?

Really in the end a Facebook page is worth what some one is willing to pay for it, if you want to target business's the best way is obviously not to use those spammy generic ones. I mean their fun and all but I have a few of them and eventually they are all be turned into community pages/ wall feed blocked ect...

The problem is, the newbies do not even read the stickies, lol.

I have come to the conclusion that there is seriously no hope when it comes to the newbies on this forum, especially in this section.

A page's value should be determined by it's activity.
There is no point in having a 500k fan page, if you only get 10k impressions and 30 interactions per status update.

So in this case, the "OMG I love it when my boyfriend texts me hehe" page could be worth a lot more than an "Exotic Sports Cars" page if the activity on the fun page is far greater than the other. After all, you want the page to send traffic to whatever it is you're updating.
