There seems to be a lack of discussion on Facebook Ads here on BHW.

I'll get the ball rolling.

For those of you that don't know, anyone with a Facebook account can run targetted ads to FB users in the space on the left column. More info here:

My questions to those with experience:

1. What time of the day do your ads usually get reviewed and approved?

Since I'm from Australia, I often create ads and then go to bed only to wake up and find that my ads have been disapproved. I then have to recreate them and wait a few more hours. Next thing you know, more than a day has passed since you first had the idea of what to advertise. It's a little inefficient.

Facebook seems to disapprove a lot of things for no good reason. And sometimes I see other people's ads running that have TOS violations.

I noticed on the weekends, my ads get approved quicker. Then when Monday rolls around, some of them get stopped.

It is possible that on the weekends they might have an automatically approving script on (just looks for bad words, and if none are there you are approved).

Hmm I don't know about automatic. If that was the case I would be making a killing on it. But, you never know, it might be true. I've never paid close attention to it on the weekends.

90% of my ads are denied for stupid shit, like not ending a sentence with a period. but to answer your question ads that I write between 8 am and 4 pm central time US will be reviewed and most likely banned the same day.

Bannings aren't a huge problem for me but getting cheap clicks are. The lowest I ever paid for a click on there was $.50
I know that some people manage to get it for 5cents but yet I don't see it how.

Personally I have found the traffic to be the absolute worst for selling any kind of product, even electronics. Its great for branding however. If you can design an ad that gets the job done and never gets a click you have a nice branding campaign running on nothing.

FB ads reviwing is real pain in backside....they are bunch of useless guys. I got my ads rejected like 4 times before ia sked them for proper reason and they just apolozied on their MISTAKE.

Yes, it's perfect for branding.

I've never even attempted to sell anything. I am strictly doing CPA offers and nothing else. College/HS don't want to spend, and even if they wanted to, they don't have $ to do it.

I pretty much cracked the jackpot about this after experimenting (and losing about $200 in the process lol) with Facebook PPC. I have gotten it down as low as 9 cents per click. I think I might write and post an article about this soon, so stay tuned.

the question is if you can repeat it over and over again?

Yeah, I was able to obtain $0.09 CPC on one campaign, and on another one got down to $0.11 CPC on another one which was unrelated.

What sort of ads are you trying to submit that are getting banned so heavily?

I've tried to advertise car on water some 2 months ago. They approved add, it was running some 2 days, and then they banned me. Don't have idea why
