Scripts/bots for Facebook tasks
Hello everyone.
I posted a comment about scripts and have already had a bunch of messages about them, so I can see that there is a market for them.
I have scripts for most things.
Logging in and out of accounts sending friend requests (without captcha/non PVA's)
Logging in and out of accounts sending friend requests (with captcha/PVA's only)
Logging in and out of accounts updating status
Logging in and out of accounts inviting all friends to groups/pages
Logging in and out of accounts posting to group walls (with captcha/PVA's only)
I want to create a program that will serve as a launch pad for all these tasks so its easy to start one up.
I have started this thread to ask some advice on how to price this program, I'm in the process of having a site built to advertise it, but i have no idea what its worth or what people are willing to pay for it. I know they are worth everything to me as its how i make m y living, and i don't want to sell it for chump change like $50 because i know its worth tons more than that.
So If anyone knows how i could market this and a suggestion as to how much I could charge that would be great.
PLEASE NOTE. THIS IS NOT AN ADVERTISEMENT! ANYONE SENDING PM'S ASKING TO BUY ONE WILL BE DENIED, I HAVE NOT ASKED OR PAID FOR PERMISSION TO SELL THIS HERE SO UNTIL I HAVE I WONT BE SELLING HERE
P.S. does anyone know who i have to contact to ask to sell them here?

Re: Scripts/bots for Facebook tasks
The sending friend requests bot works really.
It logs in and out of a bunch of accounts, at the moment 137 of them but it takes 210 seconds to log in send 25 friend requests and log out, it then logs in and out of the other accounts and does the same.
It will work for 420 accounts, this should take a pc a little over 24 hours so by the time it gets back to the start of the list it will have been a full day and it can start again with no trouble from FB logging how many i'm sending.
If you have 420 accounts then you can send out 10,500 friend requests every day with no problem. I would say that on average over all the friend requests sent out you will have about 35% - 40% people accepting your friend request so thats about 4000 new friends each day.
The best part of it is that you can geo target people using this method so if you want people from a specific town you can put a little extra time in to each account, say 10 - 20 minutes to set it up and it will 90% of the time add people from that town, if you want the % to be higher then you need to put a little more time into it before setting it up on the bot

Re: Scripts/bots for Facebook tasks
Sounds great, fortunately that's one of the easier things to do since FB changed the layout of the groups,
lol the guy who designed the new facebook layout must have been a fucking clown! he has made it so easy to bot everything
Good luck to you

Pricing suggestion
For software pricing, it is always about support. I would suggest taking a look at some of the products being sold on this forum. Cute software without support always pisses people off.
Forced Continuity is always better than a one off product, in that it is always better to give away the razor and sell the blades.
So make the software so that everyone can afford it. The price point being between $50-59 dollars. Then charge something like $10 to $15 for a 3 month service contract. You should have a goal of 5000 users within 6 months. That will give you a GUARANTEED income of $50,000 to $75,000 EVERY 3 MONTHS. ($200K to $300K yearly). Facebook has MILLIONS of users and if you could get 25,000 users you can hit the million mark.
As lomg as you can stay ahead of the facebook changes and help prevent noobs from having their account banned this could be a nice business. Remember to keep updating it and asking people on the forum what they want and they will be willing to pay that service fee

Re: Scripts/bots for Facebook tasks
Wow that was one of the best posts I have seen so far, thanks you gave me a lot to think about.
My biggest problem with promoting something like this is that i know sweet fuk all about computers and programing, plus I worry about the thought of facebook suing me for selling such a product.
But again thanks for the post it was very useful and gave me loads to think about.

Facebook won't sue you. They have bigger fish to fry. The most they do is change their own scripts to throw yours up. If you know nothing about coding etc. find a reliable person you can outsource coding too but make sure they will be available in the future when the bots need an update, if the bots are good, you will easily make your money back.

Thanks for this post.
That's another reason I am weary to sell it, because they will be able to see all the glitches I'm taking advantage of and patch them up.
I would commission someone to put all the tasks in to one program that i could market but I have been fuked over before now, and had more money than I care to mention conned from me, so I'm weary to trust someone. I would probably only go with a very large company for the trust issue and I know that it will cost me loads.
I had no idea that this would be such an internal dilemma lol, Now I don't know what to do !!!!!!!!!!! sell or not to sell that is the question.

Re: Scripts/bots for Facebook tasks
The great thing about the internet is as soon as someone changes something, like FB patching, someone is already workin on a way around it. The difficult part is keeping up with all the new developments in time for your next product update. If i was you, id definately sell it, i mean.. Facebook wont last forever, exploit it while you can. Look at myspace, everyone used it, now no one uses it. Facebook will fade out soon enough. Why not take advantage while you can?

You make a good point but I don't think FB is going anywhere for a long time yet. they are still in the infancy of what they can do with that site. If I had a broker I would be screaming buy buy buy!

Re: Scripts/bots for Facebook tasks
Anyone know of any other places to get some bots like this? I currently use a bot to friend request people from groups or fan pages I tell it. Looking to go to the next level of course. Found
some bots by jetbots, but still researching into how good of a company they are.

Re: Scripts/bots for Facebook tasks
100 usd is a good price
20 usd 3 month support fee
give a free trial 5 trails
give first 100 costumers 60% discounts
then your support and free updates can get you costumers+ income for a long time
if you have treated your costumers good
they wil love to buy any new bot you bring out!
