Hi guys,

I've currently started around 5 Facebook Pages. Each has somewhere between 200 and 500 members, and steadily climbing.

What are some good ways to monetize Facebook Pages?

yeh its easy but you need a good number of fans to start with. no point trying to push offers if you have less than 500 fans etc.. build first then push some offers

you can monetize your facebook page like this:

1. Offering your fans with CPA offer.
you can drive traffic from your facebook account to your CPA offer or another
Money Site.

2. Sell Your Facebook Traffic.
you can sell your traffic to another member here for reduce CTR.

Sorry, I was unclear in my original post. I meant how do I monetize once I get more fans obviously -- 500 fans is nothing.

you monetize by doing status updates on your fan page.. all the fans can see the updates from pages. so use this to plug cpa offers or others

They both have their good points, but if you want to be able to contact your members or have something appear on their home page then pages are the ones for you.

If however you want a stand alone site that you can build, promote and just leave do its own thing then a group might suit you.

Damn. I wanted to be able send private messages to all my members. But I made a group and I have already some members . Is here any chance to change it?

edit: now I looked in my group and there is a button "message all members" so... I think, in groups you can send message to your members too.

You can only message the members of your group if there are less than 5000 members

haha thanks. alot of members have said they like it. and as for the question. i tend to do both. create groups then ill create related pages and link together.

I have a group with 500 members and this number is growing.

Not as far as I'm aware..all my groups are under the same IP.

Just adding something, if your fan page is like most of the ones going around at the moment which is picking up all the children you are best pushing free offers eg email submits. Find out what type of thing the audience would be into for example a fan page would be called "I love it when I turn the pillow over in the morning" or something like that... you are speaking to people who enjoy sleeping? So they aren't the most active people (generally speaking).. they will most likely be 13-18 and then your best pushing win a free iphone free laptop free holiday offers or something along them lines. But twist it and make it your own.

Well if it is in the niche I guessed above then you will need to join a cpa network. There are many about and you can find information on how to get into them and which are the best on this website. But if you are selling products you can try clickbank or paydotcom there are many offers on there to suit each of your niches. I would recommend having a page that is large and rapidly growing, the best way i have found is the page being relevant to the cpa offer. Say the page is "id be lost without my ipod" the offer in the status is "check out this to get a free itunes giftcard" - Works like a charm

Yes but relevance is key if you want them to participate.
Do not do big sign up credit card offers, look for email/zip submits.

im kinda confused here.. instead of making groups nd we make a page put a picture of a sexy chick as the main picture and jus add people.. till u have however much u need and then u start sending status updates like omg i jus won a iphone nd give em the link ! thats it lol well thats wat im plannin on doing

Before facebook deleted my page with 900k+ fans

I was selling ad space for a static price, i think something like 500$/mnth which was sold to a dating app for facebook.

I also sold some PPC status updates that would make me ~100-300$ depending on the time and content of the status update.

People would also buy status updates for 200$ flat out, but most of them I didn't take because of the links they wanted to push.

Try to avoid making the status updates look spammy. Ex. if your page is about cars then push a car cpa/ppc and tie it in usually with a question, people will comment on the update and also click the link.

Some offers pay out a lead after the user submits there email address in the form or their ZIP/Postal code. These are easiest to get users to participate in. However a lower payout per lead comes from these.
