I found the page facebookblaster.com which is the software that allows you to add friends, mass post, message, etc on facebook and it works great in the demo video he shows. However, the actual demo program doesn't work so great because facebook changed the way it displays friend pages as a pop up instead of an actual page. I assume this is so it's more difficult for bots to pick up friend IDs, etc.

Later, I found a link to another software from a very similar site called "Facebook Bomber"

I haven't tried this one out much yet, but I am wondering what people here have to say about the best ways/ programs to get the 5,000 friends and message/wall post the crap out of a niche group on facebook...

It's really not that hard it seems, but Facebook is like Craigslist to a certain extent meaning it changes, so if someone has some recent updates on what's working much appreciated.
