Local FB pages
I have a FB page that I made about a week ago and now it has grown to almost 2500 fans. Its growing at a fast pace and I wanted to see if anyone out there could help me market the page. The niche is my home town in Puerto Rico. This town is know for tourism, commerce and the best golf courses.
I have great interactions with all of my fan members, I try to keep the comunication on a very personal level in order to gain trust. IDK what im doing, I have been in internet marketing since 2007 and have only made like $10 the whole time Ive been doing this. I dont wanna market to this fan page and have it blow up in my face like everything else Ive been doing.
Any help at all would be most appreciated.

Re: Local FB pages
If you're looking to promote something, try posting it on the wall first and see their reactions from that. If it's not bad, move onto messaging. Message them all at once something relevant to the group with a link to whatever you're trying to promote. Brownie points if the link is relevant, too.

Ill let you know how the result turn out. Im gonna give myself a some time to think about what to say to them because I am very familiar with the community here and they are a bit thick headed, so I think I might have to go a route that can please everyone. thanks for the suggestions Jerelene, I appreciate it very much.
