Groups have never been messaged.

How much could i potentially get or ask for these groups as they are a direct niche to games and all can be messaged at once??

Make it go viral.

"You'll get a free game (like PS3, Xbox 360, Wii) if you invite all your friends!!"

That's how I do it, anyway.

once groups go over 5,000 you cant mass message... would this be such a good idea?

It depends. My personal belief is that once you hit (near) 5k members, the group is pretty much useless if it doesn't become viral because you'd be relying on pageviews anyway to sell anything.

Plus you can't always make another group and start the whole process over.
