I'm new to this, so looking for advice/opinions from experienced people.

I have an opportunity to get 2k email addresses of doctors in a (developed) middle eastern country, I intend to do affiliate marketing with them (unless a better idea exists), should I take it or is it not even worth it?

the real question is, what do middle eastern doctors need that the UK and Europe don't provide. that's part of your solution. one you know what they need, find the affiliate program that match's that product and sell sell sell.

came up with an idea, sell them magazine subscriptions that cover the field in English. if it was my list it would have 20 to 30 of the journals. amazon has a program and Commision juction has one.

10% conversion of that list would be about 200 sales, or about 1000 in revenue for your pocket.

also if your list is broken down real well, find a used medical device dealer, might be the ticket you need. test mail each country and see which one bites the most.

middle east doctors might also like to buy translation software or translated text ( don't forget, it's not only Arabic they speak but Farsi and something else.)

might look at sunscreens products, there recently was a review of 200 of them, I would send them that as my opening hello e-mail. ( add a link to the best few products )

you got to think what they might need, if it's a high-end list then they want the best. I got a buddy of mine that's a camel vet ( yep ) and make well into 300K per year with 40 days of Vacation. but he's fucked since he always has to have the latest equipment otherwise another vet will get the business.

I would also search for an export company that deals with medical supplies, tell them about your list, and see if you can strike up a deal. ( make a web site, market the products )

if you are really that interested in knowing what they buy, then you need to get the piers reports from the Journal of commerce. I use to buy them back in the 90's and made a killing with them.
