hi guys
there is something i cant understand,everybody does it but i cant understand how.
i want to start sending 10k email a day (those are not spam emails but emails that i got from someone so there is some obtin and some not)

what i dont understand is how to do it

if i have shared hosting and create script that read the database and send it i ubnderstand that there max emails limit perday (1000 or something)

if i rent dedicated server and installed program like groupmail what else i need or what smtp do i need to use in order to send this amount of mails

and is there a service that i can rent smtp server that allow me to send this amount of email throw my desktop?

what am i miss is there other way to do it?
can someone help me with this issue?

The cheapest route would be a VPS server. Get a few ips. Make sure they have valid rDNS with matching forward dns IE IP 1.2.3.4 = mail.yourdomain.com , mail.yourdomain.com = 1.2.3.4 . Setup SPF records for yourdomain.com and DKIM for yourdomain.com.. Install qmail, install a list manager like sendstudio/ interspire email marketer.. If your list has larger domains like AOL/Yahoo, apply for a FBL (feed back loop). This way they'll forward the complaints to you so you can maintain a healthy list. REmove people that ask to be removed, remove email address that hard bounce (5xx)..

Don't send crappy stuff, don't send just an image.. Make your subjects catchy but not false or spammy. uhh there's more i just forget at the moment.

Multiple IPs will help with rate limiting.. I have a net-qmail patch that will rotate IPs and set a max connection amount per IP.. You can go with one IP.. I guess since you're only dropping 10k, you should be OK.

I have good reputation. Can I send about 1 million emails per hour with less than 3 ips?

Depends on the target domains. If they allowed a few hundred connections you would be able to. However, I can push like 1.5 M/hour with 750 ips at 300 connections per IP each.. So I don't know of 3 ips would do it

I am thinking about giving it a try with Gmail and Yahoo. It might be able to make it, if i can send multiple messages per connection.

If you don't mind using a 3rd party service, AWeber has always treated me well.

so what is qmail for?
