I am hoping to be able to pull at some of your heart strings to et some advice on email marketing.

I send out thousands of emails every week and am not making any sales.

The product is in the sex industry.

I am certain that the email itself is bland and uninteresting.

Could someone help me please?

what email marketing software are you guys using?

and how did you go about getting your databases? Did you gather your own database from visitors on your website or purchase database?

If you say your message is bland and uninteresting, why send it?
If you have a decent list, you're only going to burn it out by sending garbage.

Here's a basic mailing question list:

Does the IP you're mailing from have rDNS ?
Does your rDNS have a valid forward dns ?
IE: 1.2.3.4 = mail.yourmachine.com
mail.yourmachine.com = 1.2.3.4

What is the source of your list? How old is it?

Are there 'sex' words in the message? A lot of sex related words will cause messages to score high with spam filters.

Are you sending a mostly HTML message?
Are you linking to a domain in the message or an IP?
Are you sending a really common spammy message ?
...

Compelling SUBJECTS motivate them to open the stupidest emails.

SUBJECTS are important.

Obviously you don't know what you're doing so,,,,,,,,,,,

Uninteresting? Would you read and buy from an uninteresting email? Get better writing and try again, email marketing is quite frankly the best, PPC, SEO its all great but once you have a good lost of subscribers and a method you can make tons!

I am in the US, what does this have to do with it? I am confused by your post.

I know that the product will sell, I am just afraid that I am not getting the point across.

Should emails selling digital products be just regular text, or html? Like a newsletter or something?

I have been working with the price to see if that might be the issue as well.

are you mailing CanSpam compliant through direct sending servers to email lists of people
that have been documented giving their approval to receive your ads, complete with your legit street address and
phone number at the bottom of each email?

Do not use misleading subjects, from's, ad's, proxy's,,,,, anything.
And,, do not use paypal to collect your money from your sponsor.
Don't send anything to hotmail.com

Otherwise agents from the FTC or even the FBI could show up at your door,
depending on the severity of your can spam violations.

If you were in China or Russia,,,,, different story.
