The only time I have heard that is in nigerian scam emails...
It doesnt matter if he takes the money out, he probably has a bank account and CC on his paypal account and they will be able to retrieve any debt he owes.. If somehow he cancels his CC and doesnt have a bank accnt on it, then he will be getting 20 phone calls a day unit he pays, posibly legal action if its enough $

Re: im making a fortune
So you're selling counterfeit coins that are supposed to be misprints? Illegal.. yes. Either stop and refund people, or paypal will suck any money outta your account when they figure out what you're doing. Or do it as much as you can to make enough to retire to another country where you can fall off the map because authorities will look for you and you will go to jail otherwise. Good luck.

Re: im making a fortune
I used to sell Wholesale Lists.
However, I clearned stated 20 times in BIG BOLD RED LETTERS that " YOU ARE NOT BUYING A TV. YOU ARE NOT BUYING A PHYSICAL ITEM. YOU ARE BUYING AN eBOOK".
I made THOUSANDS and thousands each money. Then people got pissed when they didnt get their 60" TV for $24.99.....
I had a ton of people tell me they were going to sue me. Idiots.
The list was actually REALLY good btw. I bought shit off it lol.
I wish eBay still allowed this.

Well all the assets he acquired while he was running the scam. The things that he owned before hand the FBI did not seize. He is still watched pretty heavily and now he has a common low paying job as a butcher in Wal mart as no one wanted to hire him again being a convicted felon.
I dont think allot of the money he HID they ever got and he will again someday work some angles but who knows. It in many ways destroyed his life. He was already a successful businessman prior to the Ebay thing but he wanted more.. Allot more and was blinded by greed.

Ebay are arseholes thats why. Like they give a shit. They only do something when ppl flag the auctions of others. The points is if you're breaking the law its up to you to put a stop to it.
It is fraud and with so many customers trust me, someone will take it personally, complain and take it further.

Wait, I am confused... Are you trying to make money for yourself or a lawyer?
You spend 5 hours planning and 1 hour putting it to work, then give up... That is why you are not making money!

shud of used throwaway accounts.
Royal mint makes coins for either south africa or india, now one of the coins they do is worth about 5 pence in our money but its the same size and weight as our 1 pound coins ...
Quick get off down to ...

Re: im making a fortune
Listing number 250456382014 states
VERY RARE 20p COIN NO DATE ON QUEENS HEAD
which is clearly misleading as they are not rare at all.
Also, unless you're using another ID, I can only find circa 4 completed listings for you as being sold and only a handful of current listings.

Actually, I take back what I said above as taking time to look at one of your current multiple BIN listings I can see you have sold loads!!
I don't agree with what you've done but if you're going to do it, why risk an established eBay account??
eBay are probably going to be inundated with complaints and I suspect your account will eventually be suspended.
Don't be surprised to get a call from your local fraud squad. If I was you I would end all listings, get the buyers to agree to cancel the transactions and then refund all monies paid.

Re: im making a fortune
I actually think this threade is fake...I don't see a buy it now button as claimed and topsytips what bin listings do you see?
I think the OP should be ashamed of himself selling people in here hope. Obviously he isnt really doing much with this (ahem) method, or, he wouldn't be in here. $80,000 sounds good in theory, but, I doubt this is a reality. Look at the auction, he aint selling enough items fast enough to make $80,000. There are no multiple listings and ebay auctions take 3days at least to end per item.
You want attention doncha

See he's had 3 negs today on what was a 100% record...
Below is also an answer to a question posted today...the old coins do have a date on the tails side so I guess the OP will say that that is the back of the coin??
Q: is the date on the front? some of them have it on the front instead
A: No there's No date there

Ah I see...even the 151 doesnt add up to 550+ sales though I am surprised he got negative feedback because I didn't think he delivered the items yet to get any feedback.

when I go to completed listings all I see is the motorcycle. When I go to his feedback I see one reply on july, 2 of someone thanking him for buying the coin. Sorry but I dont know what your looking at to see his previous sales.
Edit: I did go to buyer history and see abunch sold today for $2.46. That won't make him rich, lol. I counted 259 sold for 2.46 which equals $637.14...note: don't quote me on count it might be more or less. I aint counting the sales again.

No, I don;t think it's going to make him rich as he's selling at a BIN price of £1.50 (or $2.46 for you!!).
The earlier profit estimates were, I believe, based on an estimated selling price of circa £51 which is what the real coins are being sold for.

Re: im making a fortune
misleading and deceptive marketing for financial gain, can be pursued as federal crime, in some rare cases international, so the worst thing can happen is FTC and attorney general gets involved, your assets frozen, criminal and civil charges filed against you, and you go join Madoff.
All it takes is one really pissed of costumer to start this, and do not think you can hide behind fake names, servers, proxies, disclaimers and stuff. Trust me, I know, "close partner" had attorneys knock on the door for copyright infringement and misleading advertising even when it was thought to be all covered and safe. Almost all money made went puff to defend the case and reimburse costumers(even costumers never complained-but third party (attorneys) contacted payment processors. Was not as bad as deal was made just not to do it anymore. On the other hand this is BH forum and we all done our fair share of similar things. As long you don't get GREEDY and don't live next door to F.B.I, chances are rather slim that will happen. Nevertheless try to act responsibly. And NO, you are never 100% safe.

Re: im making a fortune
Get ready...
"UK Man Convicted in Counterfeit Scam
Davut Turk, living in the UK, raked in tens of thousands of dollars selling expensive jewelry and ornaments on eBay over the past two years. Although described as silver, the products were actually made of brass. Turk’s lucrative scam, which netted him approximately $70,000, was exposed when a customer complaint led to raids on his home and a nearby storage locker. Mr. Turk was recently convicted of 30 offences relating to trade descriptions and the use of counterfeit hallmarks. Officers found more than 200 pounds of fake silver items, ranging from rings and necklaces to candelabras and salt and pepper shakers. Turk was ordered to pay close to $10,000 in court fees and fines. eBay and PayPal investigators assisted law enforcement in an ongoing basis over the course of several months. They were able to assist investigators trace the funds received for this scam as Mr. Turk used PayPal to accept payment from his victims."

Re: im making a fortune
I never understood people who fraud or rob banks. If you are going to fraud or steal at least have a proper exit plan. Here is a very basic list:
1. Withdraw as much money as you can.
2. Leave the country, once there, shed all your identity. Maybe even get plastic surgery to change a few features.
3. Leave that country for another one with your new identity.
4. Do NOT (and I repeat it: DO NOT) contact ANYONE from your past life. That includes your parents, your siblings, friends, your sweetheart, your sweetheart best friend, the girl you took to the dance, the girl you always dream of banging if you were load with $$$$. Absolutely NO ONE, you are dead to them and they are dead to you.
5. Live a very clean life but always look over your shoulder b/c you never know when the officials will find you.
If you can't do just those basic things than give the money back now. Say you made a mistake in the shipments or advertisement. Why make a fortune and you can't enjoy it.

Re: im making a fortune
The listing has been removed now so obviously eGay have caught up with the OP.
Because of this, my earlier links will no longer work!!

Re: im making a fortune
put all the money on red on a roulette table. if you win, cash out and send them their money back saying it was a mistake and you shipped the wrong item out. you just made that amount of money by doubling their money
if you lose it, run away... either way, you are going to lose your money and face jail time so might as well take a 50:50 chance of getting all your money and not facing jail time

Re: im making a fortune
oh man, you should think about something like that before you do such things.
now you have to live with the consequenzes

Re: im making a fortune
God, I wish all buyers are like collectors. Man, you can sell them something at any price if they are interested and really want it.
Earlier, just before I started IM career, I was a numismatic dealer. Boy, what an easy money I could earn sometimes. I even sold one banknote for 1300 back than.
Regarding this, if you were a dealer before, than you can forget on it anymore. They ( collectors ) will eat you alive on all their Google / Yahoo groups, you won't sell anything anymore. If you not ( even if you are ) you could get yourself in deep problems with this.

Re: im making a fortune
Auction has been pulled and the OP has been NARU'd so he has no eBay account PLUS he's gonna be someones bitch when Plod catch him.
Just to straighten this up, there are around 200,000 of these coins. There is no date anywhere on them. If they have a date, they're worth 20p. If they have no date, the Royal Mint will buy them back for £50, but only 25,000 of them.
