eBay selling limits
Hi
I have a question for eBay veterans, my eBay account has a 10/1000 limit, does it apply to eBay store also which i recently subscribed to ?
Just asking because if it applies to my Store as well than i would be needing to look at drop-shipping options, wanted to be sure which way to go
Thank you in advance !

Re: eBay selling limits
It applies to the account and the ebay store with it?
You can ring them and they will probably lift it to a higher amount for you?

Re: eBay selling limits
Once you have a few sales you will be able to call in and get the account lifted

Go to seller account and click on request to raise seller limit button. Ebay will post a letter to you with a code. Enter the code and your limits should be raised from 10 to 100 month. Just done it for my daughter who hasn't even started selling yet.

Are you sure? Is this for US based accounts? Because I know for US ones, you can request limits but they will generate verification questions based on your information.

Re: eBay selling limits
I'm assume that you have a US account base on the 10/$1,000 limit.
This limit apply to both auction and store.
You can raise your limit to 100/$5,000 after confirm your identity
Good luck

Re: eBay selling limits
Drop shipping ebay does not like. If your account is new and fresh you got limits it's normal. You need to get rid of stuff on ebay first for a few months and call in to get the limits lifted or they'll do it on their own within 3 months. The store does not mean the limits will lift on it's own either! Just wait it out and get rid of stuff and build up feedback. Don't do digital items or ebooks cause those will get your account banned and locked faster then you know.

Re: eBay selling limits
The normal limits of 10/$1000 apply even if you open a store to the best of my knowledge.

I have a nine year old account with ebay, and recently decided to trade full time, converted to a business account; opened a shop the whole nine yards.
But guess what I couldn't sell more than 100 items. Now if like me you want to earn your bread and butter trading on ebay and have some experience of this competitive market; you will know 100 items just wont generate enough profit. I called ebay and advised I am looking to list 1 15000 item inventory and explained I have 74 feedbacks (100% positive with most being sales and not buys) from the last 9 years; so why am I restricted to 100 items? the answer; I haven't sold in the last 3 months.
Now im a reasonable guy, so I accepted ebay has its rules, and asked how long till I can upload my entire inventory given my seller stats meet the min requirement? the answer 1 year. I then asked how much can my limit be extended to right now given my long standing impeccable history with ebay? the answer; 100 items WILL remain my selling limit.
Not only was I willing to invest 1000s of pounds into listing fees but was also aiming at 1000-1500 sales a month; the point being all ebay had to do was sit and collect 1000s on the back of my hard work.
The reason it can afford to turn me down?.... well its simple, there is no competitor that can match its size. Obviously ebay thinks its too big to be taken down (so did Hitler by the way) but pride comes before the fall.
I thinks sellers should follow me to go work with ebays competitors (ebid, cq out, amazon etc), encourage friends and family to not shop on ebay and stop using Paypal(an ebay company) to make payments on website that offer it as a payment option (many debit/and all credit cards) offer buyer protection, so why bother with promoting a business that has become too fat for its own good.
Dont be a victim, take a stand and do some damage...
be cool

Re: eBay selling limits
I see where you can click to ask to have the limits raised. It takes me to an area asking me if everything is ok. Will it then ask me questions online or will I have to call and talk to someone? Which way is it?

Hey! You can usually just sell on that account for a few months, and they will move your limit up! Message me if anyone wants High Limit Accounts! Or your PayPal is Limited
