Default Flipping video games on ebay? good way to make money or not?

I been flipping ps3 games on ebay (call of duty games) buying them for under $10 and selling them for $12.99. I only make about 1 - 2 dollar profit but in my mind it's making money and that's all that matters. Does anyone else flip video games? how much money could i make a month from $1 - $2 profit?

its tough now because people just sell their games on craigslist for almost market value. hard to find profitable deals unless you hit up a pawn shop and buy in bulk. but even they check ebay and craigslist. but unles you are getting games for next to nothing. For a $1 or $2 profit it would only be worth it to me if i was selling 100+ games a week.

You can flip games in several ways:

By buying collections of games from Craigslist, eBay, and from Facebook Groups. Wait for someone to post up a large collection of games, and then use eBay Advanced search to figure out what each and every one of them are worth. When a collection of games exceeds $500, there aren't a whole lot of people out there willing to pay that much for a bunch of games.

Go to retail stores, and hit up any deals you can. Games sell very quickly, even slightly older games. You won't have a large profit margin so you rely on buying several games and making a small profit to hopefully equal and overall good return. Toys R Us, has Buy One, Get one Half Off all of the time, which actually brings the cost down to 25% off per game. You can use things like Toys R Us rewards points to make things slightly more profitable - and they also Price Match, so you can use that to your advantage as well.

You can put ads in local newspapers saying you will buy used games, paying more than pawn shops, and twice as much as places like E.B. Games, and Gamestop. They pay very little for games, so paying twice as much actually isn't that much. I did this for a while by posting ads on Craigslist and would go and drop $200 in cash on a small lot of games and turn around make about $150 in profit with ease. You can even sit outside the building passing small flyers to people saying you will pay twice as much for used games and you will get some hits (but might get chased off of the property.)

Hit up Pawn Shops, they get stuck with used games. Go in, make a deal to buy a lot of them, you'll make a profit.

One thing people do not realize is that $1-$2 profit is all you need to make in quantity to have a nice income.

It doesn't take much work and if you manage to sell at least 10 copies a day it can be quite a decent extra cash.
