I am going to make a new pp account tomorrow and I just wanted to ask is it ok, as in my accounts won't get banned.

The first account is under my name and it verified (although no tax info entered)

The second is under my family members name who is over 18 and it will be linked to a different bank account than my account.(will be verified)

First account has a ebay account and I am not going to sell anything under the account.

The second account will be used to sell stuff. (not replicas or anything like that)

I wanted to know if my accounts will get limited?

Be assured that if any of your account get limited, the second will be too. Be aware. This happened to me and I had to wait months before getting my money!

If the new account is for another person, and you have done everything legal with your own account, then there is nothing to worry about. We have logged in to my personal account, my business account and my partners account under same IP all the time and nothing bad has happened.

I have a business account and a personal account and i switch between the 2 with no problems

shouldn't be a problem. But just to be safe id get a vps(really cheap one without virtualization)-about $20/year and use ssh tunnel. pretty much the only thing i use firefox for.

YOU Can use 2 accounts from same ip but at some condition you both can get banned

be safe as you can and never login on the ip where already a pp account has limited or got banned before.

i have 2 pp account both with my brothers name i think. No problem yet been using both for past 3 years.

You can use both Paypal with same IP with no problem, AS LONG AS THEY DON'T GET INTO TROUBLE.
If any of the Paypals or eBays get into trouble, very likely that all of them will go down if they are all on the same IP.
Think of them as being in the same boat.
If you are only gonne use one of the eBay as a buying account, there shouldn't be a problem.
eBay and Paypal only gives sellers problems most of the time.

Like everyone says, if one gets in trouble, they both will.
Its not only that, if two people have the same address, they'll often ban both. I was living at a different address than my mom, and managed to get my account banned. A few days later hers was banned too because of the name and previous address.

Since it is a legitimate family account. Your safe using the same IP Address.
But be aware that basically their the same account in the fact they will be
linked. So if their is any trouble...Expect limits on both of them. And trust me
it does not take much for PayPal or Ebay to get fussy over nothing.

You're right about that. I logged in from a hotel (different country ) and my account was limited. It took over an hour on the phone to get it unblocked.

it all depends on your intention for usage. I have 3 accounts since 3 years and never had any issues so far. One good reason, they are all verified and legit. Its pretty much the same for facebook :) you might have 3 members in your house with 3 different accounts logging in from 1 pc with 1 IP :) Hope you get the point

Yeah your right in your explanation. I mean my advice is to make sure the names are at least different and
really are your family accounts. You know PayPal is like a cat in water when it comes to people having more
than one account. Mainly, because they already allow people to have about 2 or 3 ebay accounts per PayPal account.
So the only reason to have more than one account is for your business. And in that case the PayPal account would
be signed up in your " Doing business as " name, address and other information.

Good Luck,

Yes, you can sign up 2 paypal accounts under the same IP, there is no problem, i also have.

It's helpful to have all the info submitted and verified on both accounts, so there is nothing other than the same IP that raises a flag. I use two accounts from home, another pair from dedicated IP and PC location 2, another pair for location 3, etc., with no problems.

I have 3 accounts all under the same address and ip for the past 4 years, haven't had any problems.

I have 4 accounts for different legal entities plus have access to a couple accounts from my web design customers and never had any problems.
