How I got banned on ebay, yet used ebay for years with my real info.

Ok, so around 2008, I had ~5 accounts. We can just call them account 1,2,3,4 and 5. On account 5, I used a fake name but used the same paypal for all 5 ebay. Account 5 got banned, so was account 1,2,3,4 (since linked by paypal).

In 2010 I made 5 new accounts, account 6,7,8,9,10. They asked me for documents (license, bill, etc.) and I submitted it. Surprisingly, they did not link it to my old accounts. I've used these account for an year and half. Till, yet again, one of these new accounts (account 10) got banned (got banned because of activity of account 10, nothing to do with old accounts 1-5), so they banned the linked accounts also (accounts 6,7,8,9).


I called ebay and asked if I can get my account 1 back and they gave it back to me. I sold few things, then they blocked the account and said I was linked to account 5 (which has fake info). And now they want documents (license, bill, etc.) to prove I am not the same name as account 5.


Is ebay this stupid or are they trying to trick me? Even though i used same paypal for account 1-5, the ebay name on account 5 was fake and they said as long as my name isnt that person's i can sell again.

I am not worried about being linked to the 2008 accounts. What concerns me is I already submitted documents in 2010, and if they link it to accounts 6,7,8,9,10, than I am blocked for good. I asked if the 2008 accounts were linked to any of the names in 2010 and they said no. The 2010 accounts have the same name (my real name) as the 2008 accounts. I really don't think it's linked because if it was, they would just tell me no your 2010 accounts are banned so u cant have these back.

Are you sure that the request for information was actually from Ebay.

Whichever Ebay you deal with . . . .

I would give your latest Ebay account another try and see what happens, If that account is
not accepted . . . then you know for sure where you stand with Ebay.

You could try for a Stealth EBAY Account, Do a search on Big G for this . . .

In having the same problem. eBay are asking for my id. When you sent documents were they fake? If so how did you fake them?

start again, the other accounts have all been banned, all you will do is chase your tail sending documents for ebay/paypal to then say bye bye

start again with stealth and do not link any ebay/paypal accounts together, each account must be seperate

was this ebay US you called or in another country?

May be it's linked through the PayPal account.

yeah ebay USA. i rather use old because i am honest seller. i usually buy and sell. but some times i buy fake (not on purpose). and don't know and sell. but now i know whats real/fake.
