If its not a name brand item. You could try to source it from alibaba or tradekey. Don't try to source name brand items from tradekey or alibaba, guaranteed to be fake.

You will need to go through the backstreets on this one. Try and call some manufacturers that you find on tradekey or alibaba and talk to them directly. Obviously, if you speak Chinese, it would be easy to call them, but you could also correspond through email. I can also help with finding sourcing if you need it.

Im guessing it means youll find manufactureres who sell it.

What's the niche? There's a thread listing wholesale/dropship hookups forum.

If it's a name brand product, there is a good chance that you can find somewhere to get it here in the US, though the prices you'll pay will most likely not be competitive if you're new to the game, and not buying in bulk.

Check that list, and search through their offerings, browse through inventory source, and check the mfr page for a list of distributors. You should be able to find someone who has the products you're looking for, or will have offerings that you can compete with until your relationships/buying power/reputation is strong enough to barter for the pricing on the top tier products.
