Uhhh....selling what? Own products? And where wil lthey see what sells? From us the sellers? What do you think about this?

obviously just a marketing effort but its pretty cool. Think I might go take a look

"just marketing" i think they'll be using their online customers to do all their market reasearch for them..Then proably ban them if they are in direct competition.There we go again? Another big company about to screw its users. Their speciality was online auctions..now they are moving into offline retail? I see no difference now betwen them /Amazon/Tesco/House of Frazier etc....there is no spciality any more.

They are already trying to kill their affiliate since the infamous October (2008?-2009?). Now they will kill the little guys having a store there. They're over-cooking affiliate's cookies. Ebay is really not doing things ethically...

so where do these products get bought from? Their own products?

However, the shop will have no tills and only a very limited selection of products, none of which shoppers can take away with them. If they want to buy it, they can then use their smart phones to scan in a so-called QR code on the ticket. How does this work?

They're over-cooking affiliate's cookies. Ebay is really not doing things ethically...

so from what I can see from initial reading is:

1) They will make a list of the top 200 selling products

2) Stock them in their shop

3) offer them for sale in the shop via online methods

So..they will be using the sellers accounts to see which are the top 200 itmes...and selling those items them-selves to customrs in their shop?

Yeah? Is that right?

Sake...........then it's very nealry the end for egay sellers. If this is a success they wil lsimply roll out to every town in the UK/USA/Canada etc and a good% of sales will be through their own stores.

Like I said...much better to be in Ebay then be a seller for therm. Talk about cheap market and product reasearch.
