How to stop paypal payments on ebay? Ways to stop your acc from accepting paypal payments?
So Ebay has fucked me over for about $20,000 worth of listing because my paypal limited after I received $8,000 + in payments and limited - they then promptly ended my listings, and have wasted days of my time
I want to accept bank payment only, I cant not accept paypal, so I'm looking for ways to put a hold on my paypal so my account *cannot be used to send money to*
Accounts when limited can still receive payments. I want the buyers to purchase and if they choose paypal they get the *account cant receive payments* error and I'll then convince them to pay via alternative methods.
Looking forward to your input
Thanks!

You can't. eBay Ts & Cs state that PayPal is a required form of payment, so if you don't want to accept it, you can't sell on eBay.

yes I *do accept* paypal, but then when you try to pay to it - it spits out an error saying *account cannot receive money* etc - thats what I'm after
Ebay lets you put in any email address for your paypal, whether its registered or not, so I'm sure if its completely limited or something method they will still allow you to use it as well
Thanks

If you put "any" address as PayPal when creating your listing, and your customer decides to use it to pay you, the e-mail address will receive a message from paypal, saying that someone has tried to send you money. If that e-mail does not have PayPal account created, it will offer the option to create one. You can't exactly "force" your customers to pay by other means, if they don't want to.
