I had 3 out 4 listings taken down. I received a email that said my listing were removed because of a trademark violation. I can't figure out why they didn't take down all four? They were all the same thing. I was selling beats. It said if I relisted them I could get limitations put on my account. What should I do to avoid this in the future? I was using my own pics not stock.

don't sell replicias for one... beats are one of the hardest thing to get past vero right now... be lucky that you got one sold, and it probably paid for all four. not much you can do besides change listings and pictures for each one and pray. make the auctions as short as possible.

I heard do them long for like 5 days then you don't look like your a hit and run type deal. It was a trademark violation, it didn't say was taken down by the request of veRo.

There is so much info going around no one knows exactly how the "brain" comes up with it.... I like to get them up there short and sweet, or with a buy it now. get paid and get out. if you have 5-10 good stealth accounts your fine. I just make sure to send item out ASAP and keep customers happy, if they want return, take it, etc ... good luck hope you get through. like i said beats are VERY hard right now.

There isn't much advice to be given when it comes to this. It's usually out of your control if you get caught or not and most of the time you get caught. Just like the poster said above, you want to try to make the sales as quick as possible and move on.

This is something that really ticks me off. I'm not in the ebay business but I hate companies that do things like this. It is ebay's way of denying an account to sell things because there is a high replica chance and the account isn't a power seller. Yes you are using beats logo in your ad which is trademarked by the company that created beats but, you are selling their product on an auction site which means that you are using the trademarked name fairly and within the law.

As far as covering your ass. You should have a few accounts and sell real items that will easily pass ebays check and sell it for cost or maybe even $5 - $10 bucks below cost so they will sell easily and you get good feedback. For about every 5 or so items you sell on that account, put up your beats item and keep the price fair in the market and not so cheap that red flags are thrown. You will lose money selling the other items for cheaper than they cost but you will make a couple of hundred from each beat item. You do it this way because if you have an account that sells ONLY something that is on the high replica list, you aren't going to do very well because your account will automatically be red flagged.
