Turbo Lister sucks, any alternatives?
I'm trying to use Turbo Lister and it's not going great. When I search through TL for the category that my item should be in, it says "The category number is not valid. Please enter another number or enter a category from the category list" when I try to complete the item. The number is definitely correct (if I go all the way through Ebay to find the item category, the number is correct).
I've run all available updates and I'm using the latest version of TL. Ebay's TL forum couldn't come up with an answer. I actually like the way TL works, but right now it's about as functional as a squashed ham sandwich left over from last Tuesday. So, is there a way to fix it? Or is there a good alternative?
I searched, I didn't find, so sorry if a similar thread was under my nose.
Cheers,
fbb

I like Auctiva, they do charge a small amount however.

Re: Turbo Lister sucks, any alternatives?
Good shout (I'm liking the 30 day trial) but no straightforward way to post classifieds... bah! Why can't TL do what it's supposed to do?
Edited again, because my first edit made no sense.
Turbo Lister just screws up when I try to list classified ads. I can list regular auctions fine with Turbo Lister, only I want to list clasifieds at the moment. Any ideas appreciated.
Cheers

Re: Turbo Lister sucks, any alternatives?
I've just reinstalled it and run all possible updates several times. If anyone knows of an ebay lister that supports classified ads, please let me know, as I'm pulling my hair out. Thanks.

Re: Turbo Lister sucks, any alternatives?
Finally got an answer from Ebay. They no longer accept classified ads for electronics.
Quite why Turbolister couldn't have said that in the first place rather than sending me running round for two days, first trying to get TL to work, then trying to find an alternative, I don't know. Anyway, there's the explanation.

TL sucks so much it's not even funny. Downloaded it several times and NEVER got it to work.
An alternative would be a god's send.

Press Crtl + Shift + Alt + R, click "OK" in the box of mystery that pops up, THEN run all of the updates. Might help.
I have no idea what ctrl+shift+alt+R does, other than give RSI, but it definitely does *something*. TL worked for me, except on classifieds.

Re: Turbo Lister sucks, any alternatives?
Its been working fine for me on classified ads. Just change the auction setting to classified ad first and then choose the category local services and pick one of the sub categories. The only thing is that the category choice for classified ads is not great. It all depends what you are trying to sell I suppose.
