The proposition:
With all of this, I want to be as transparent as possible. When I work with anyone at BHW, all information that I can think of will be laid out in plain sight. I know that at this forum, we have similar goals and the more we can help each other in the process, the better.
I've made quite a few supplier friends out in Guang Dong, Shen Zhen, Guang Zhou, and Shanghai. I've even met with some of them over dinner out there in China! It helps that I was there for personal reasons, too (I'm American Born Chinese).
Ok, my main goal here is to stay away from the pick and packing part of this business as much as possible. I've done my time and believe me I have, so I want to expand in other ways. I personally know wholesale manufacturers that will give me the absolute best price even if it's with a parcel as small as 500 qty, whether it be electronics/textile goods/gourmet items/furniture, you name it.
With that being said, you name the product and I will fetch you the most reliable supplier and price that I can find. All prices given to you are completely transparent and do not reflect a "finder's fee." The fee comes in the purchase. Say you make a $1,000 purchase for 5,000 pairs of socks--I'll take 10% off the top, making your purchase $1,100. A couple of things this alleviates:
1) Price hunting. You already have close to the best price you can find anywhere. Just add 10% on top.
2) Scammers. If you've been around the "wholesale" domain, you've either dealt with a) being scammed, b) scared of being scammed, c) trauma from being scammed.
3) Learning through trial and error. If you have a question, I should have an answer. You will be able to reach me on Skype almost all day long.
I've been through a lot and am speaking from experience. In other words, "I've done the work for you." This can be a mutually beneficial partnership. The doors are open and I'm taking anyone who wants to work with me.
P.S. I do want to work with any one person that wants to build a business for themselves. HOWEVER, I will not deal with punks that want to get one on over me. I realize that this forum has all types of people from all walks of life, but don't be surprised if I choose not to work with you because of XYZ reason.
