Does anyone have any experience with tradetang, specifically for monster cables? The profit margin between tang and feebay is potentially huge, but I have no way of verifying if these cables are real or copies. The seller has assured me they are real Monster cables but I'm not so quick to trust him, his rating is high though.

I checked completed auctions on feebay and these cables almost always sell, but I did notice something strange. Almost all of the sellers were new sellers with very little feedback, usually under 10. This leads me to believe that most of these cables are fake and the feebay police quickly ban sellers who list them. I would think there would be many powersellers flipping items like this, because like I said the profit margins are potentially large.

I'm new to reselling, so far I've made a few hundred dollars reselling electronics I've purchased on Craigslist, all in about 2 weeks. I'm excited about the possibility of making money on my own terms and maybe one day getting off the hamster wheel of normal employment entirely. I know I'm not going to get rich quick, but I would consider reliably making $1000 a month on my own to be a HUGE achievement.

I am no expert on neither tradetang or cables in general, however, having lived in Shanghai for the last 2 years it is quite obvious to me that the Chinese will say 'anything' in order to sell a product

Funny thing is, I found that site about the coat hangers while researching this lol.

But I'm considering ordering some of these cables for my inventory and I don't want my ebay account banned, or get in debt with PayPal. I have read other posts on this very forum where people have gotten into serious debt with PP over similar stuff.
