As you guys know that on ebay everyone uses the same dropshippers and since your competition is a click away it is easy for a potential customer to simply compare prices and buy from the lowest source. This results in cut throat competition.

Does anyone have a solution where you can buy in low quantities or single items and still make money. Whether you contact the manufacturers abroad or find some other way, etc.

I would interested in knowing what solutions you guys have.

Use your dropship hook-ups, but don't sell on eBay. If you want good markups, it doesn't make sense to sell on a marketplace where your competition is right next door. Instead, move out a little more, and start your own ecommerce site, where you can assign healthy mark-up prices.

You don't have to have the lowest prices on an ecommerce site - people buy from you because they trust you, and as long as your mark-up isn't exorbitant, they won't mind spending a couple of dollars extra on your products.
