So without further dribble, let me tell you what a Dreambox 500 actually does?

The Dreambox 500 orginal made by Dream*media. Is a satalitte/cable digital receiver. It was the first reciever which was also opensource software using linux.

This meant you could reprogram the box yourself and hundreds of thousands of people are already doing just that. You may ask, why or what benifit does it have?

Thats simple....i.e I live in UK. I have Virgin cable. I can reprogram the Dreambox 500C (takes 10mins) and include the encryption keys which will get me ALL (yes even pay-per view) channels for free. There is no talkback and total undetectible.

My brother doesnt have cable, but has satalitte. He sets his Dreambox 500S up for cardsharing and gets over 4000 channels including sky.

Now Im not going to tell anyone how to do it, I just showing you what these receivers can do and Im sure some of you already know about them.

My point to this thread is simply to share where I buy mine from and I know is the cheapest in the world on Dreambox as they make them in china. I and many of my frineds have bought of them for over a year now and its my gift to you.

I use to sell these on ebay, but they clamp down on copies now. So I only sort out my frineds. I STRESS DO NOT ASK ME TO SET ONE UP FOR YOU OR SELL YOU ONE REPROGRAMMED - I will not do this.

The manufactuer is Enjoy and I havent had a thankyou yet so heres hoping this gets one at least one

P.S they also do mobile phone copies as well.

ok so there are like 10 different models. They also sell boards. What would someone need exactly. I have the Dish satellite, and dsl.

You need a satellite, a minimum dreambox 500s + Internet connection.

What jimmy12, is saying it`s all true... But it`s not that easy! ;/

First of you need to get ahold of guys that do Cardsharing, then you need to program the Dreambox to recieve cards from those other people, so it gets to unlocking codes for each channel as some channels update their codes each 15 sec (I`ve been told).

I have a setup of this at home with my Dreambox 500+, works great and i have all the channels i want, simple and easy... But i do pay a subscription fee of 40$ per month, and get in return about 10000$ per year..

Yes if your satalitte, you get all sky channels you would need to either subscribe to a cardshare service (plenty of website looking to sell such services) or setup your own and sell to your frineds.

However, if your cable provider such as (N*TL, V*irgin, EX*CW) in UK I have no problem in sending you my backup image which includes the decryption keys and after you have flashed my image to your box, you would just tell it to scan your provider and then rebot the box. Hey presto, all channel your provider broadcast you can now watch undectible and more importantly FREE.

Note: This can off course work if you have a cable feed comming into the house, even if your not paying anything to the provider anymore. As they rarely terminate the feed from the box outsdie the house. If you do decide to get one of these and using cable, then I would recommend you get your services turned down to the minimum TV package so at least your paying them somthing. If we all stopped paying them, the privders wouldnt be around anymore then we all out of TV

How much DID you buy them for?

I buy them in boxes of 10, works out about £55 including shipping etc... Tip, dont use DHL to UK as you could be hit by import taxes. Using EMS myself, I've never been hit by customs

Wait undetected at all? Just want to confirm, is it because Virgin Cable is not very strict in scrutinising or is it because the box is real good in hiding itself? Cause a friend of mine in my country got caught recently doing something similar.

Hi i just bought a DreamBox 500C from the website u provided. i also live in the uk do you know how long it takes to arrive. Also can u plz send me your backup image which includes the decryption keys so i can put it on the box?

There is no talkback frmo the box to the cable company. So only way they can find you is they walk into your house and actually see you watching a pay channel and the box plugged in.

5-10days for delivery and got your pm and emailed you the image and instructions on how to flash it...enjoy your free TV

will the dm500c work in the USA? as far as getting the channels to come in free?

500c is for cable feed...if you have cable I guess it would, but check with a usa dreambox forum for the correct image so all you have to do is flash it to the box.

Ok got my box. It doesn't have a card in it.

Where do i begin? Looking for US based stations for satellite.
