What you did then was to:
List a popular item with the description that you will sell them the "online location" of the product for $. They would buy it for $ and your online delivery script would send them a document with the link to the online shop that sold the item for $ (of course that link was an affiliate link for whatever online shop you were promoting) And you always could include an upsell

i think you could still pull this of by listing on the website and domain catergory since you are allowed to send websites and domains via online.

Depending on what you are selling, this might get you flagged pretty fast ... but there are now several scripts out that automate the sales of CDs. I saw one even in the download section .... so I might get into this again...
