wondering what people think about it as i new in export start the production and selling successfully with in india and want inputs from forum members about it !

we are also launching factory of leather wear like wallet , belt , shoes etc as whole world know that asia is the biggest source of leather and sarees !

I think if you can land some good importers in those countries you should be able to do well, find out what kind of demand vs market there is in those locations for what your trying to sell. I know for a fact in Canada and the US, tobacco NEEDS to be duty paid, no matter what form it's in.

As the economy gets worse in the USA, one place where MORE people will shop are the "Flea Markets"

The dealers at these markets find their products from from certain publications that sell things especially for those markets. The largest
of these magazines are East Coast Merchandiser, Midwest Merchandiser, and West Coast Merchandiser.

You need to place an inexpensive ad in one or all of those magazines. All of these dealers are hungry and are always looking for "direct" links to manufacturers.

Another thing you could do is look at classified ad sites such as craigslist, and kijiji, as the new modern age evolves into the space age (which is currently happening and will be happening for many many years), more and more peope will stop using physical means such as magazines and the like, to import product to their community via flea markets like Flinx said. Flea market are HUGE because of the economic state of the world, I would imagine that you would have alot of success advertising in the magazines and on classified sites. Find out where the majority of the population of an area is located, and put ads in their location on these classifieds sites.
