How safe is it? I remember a few years back I was told to go to Sedo or Flippa, but then Sedo pissed me off and I don't use them anymore.

Is Ebay a good alternative? Has anyone done good business with websites or domain names there?

It's not allowed to sell intangible items on ebay!
This would include domains, even tho many people do it, it's not allowed!

Why don't you try bido.com ? they're good all around and if you have many domains, just make a $30 investment and open a thread on the BST section.
