F*ing FRUSTRATED with CL Bot Pro
Hey All,
I've been using CL Bot Pro for about two weeks now. It worked great at first, and then I had a need to ramp up the number of ads and went with Proxy Rotator and Captcha Solving. (capthca solving works fine...)
That is when everything went to shit and the hogs ate it.....
CLBP takes about two minutes to try and log into my private proxies, then it posts the ad. But the IP is not changing. If I want to post, I need to do log into my proxies manually through IE. Otherwise, no dice.
I've been in touch with Yuri, and he asked that I email him a system file from the clbotpro folder. I did it right away. That was Friday.
I have emailed him several times, and it is now Wednesday and no response. Before, he would reply within 48 hours.
Needless to say, without the Proxy Rotator working properly, I'm losing money!
I've checked and my proxies are working fine. I've double checked and all of the proxies are entered into CLBP correctly with the correct IP, username, password and port.
Can anyone shed light on this for me. Am I doing something wrong?
I am seriously considering contacting PayPal and trying to reverse the charges and using the money to by Troopal.
I don't want to do that, but I don't know what to do.
Any help/advise would be greatly appreciated!!
Cheers,
JR

Re: F*ing FRUSTRATED with CL Bot Pro
you're not happy,, do a chargeback.
He failed to deliver a working product.
Sales should be suspended until he has his product fully developed and fully functional.
What if he were selling airplanes?
The "patch-as-you-go" business philosophy sucks ass, and he's only doing it so as to make money today instead of providing a polished and fine tuned product for all.

Re: F*ing FRUSTRATED with CL Bot Pro
I hate doing that, but I don't know what choice I have. If he were keeping in touch with me, I'd have more patience.
Can anyone vouch for Troopal?
Is anyone having the same issue I'm having with CL Bot Pro?

Re: F*ing FRUSTRATED with CL Bot Pro
Another option would be to get either DSL or a dialup account, and buy either the dialup redialer or the dsl redialer and use that instead of proxies. I've heard of many here using that with no problems. Plus it saves you money in not buying proxies.

Re: F*ing FRUSTRATED with CL Bot Pro
Troopal comes with more "toys" that you don't have to pay for up-front, however there is always the subscription fees. This board seems to be 1/2 for Troopal and the other 1/2 for CLBotPro. I, myself feel Troopal has better support though their forums.

Re: F*ing FRUSTRATED with CL Bot Pro
I like Troopal. I took a long time to make my decision, and I am glad that I went with it. There is A LOT of information on the forums to get you going, and there are many helping hands on the forum to help you out.

Re: F*ing FRUSTRATED with CL Bot Pro
Do either of these auto-rotate IP's on DSL? Here's the thing... I have to unplug my modem and plug it back in to get a new IP, but sometimes I have to try 2 or 3 times before it will actually give me a different IP.
Does anyone know of a program that can still do this? That has been the ONLY thing keeping me from getting one of these programs.
Please let me know!

Re: F*ing FRUSTRATED with CL Bot Pro
clbotpro has an ip renew addon...took me a while to figure out how to setup and a few emails back and forth with Yury. but it works like a charm now.

Re: F*ing FRUSTRATED with CL Bot Pro
IPGreen does work with Troopal. So you can use that for logging into your modem and releasing/renewing the IP. It doesn't work with every modem, so just make sure to contact them first to see if your modem is supported. Verizon and AT&T modems I know are and theirs a few others.

Thanks.
Can it "generate" a fresh IP for every post and is it worth $200?

Re: F*ing FRUSTRATED with CL Bot Pro
Generating a Fresh Ip each time will depend on your service provider and where you live. You definitely will get access to enough though to post an alright amount but overdoing your postings like with any other IP's will eventually prompt for PVA blocks. In my opinion though, IPGreen was definitely worth the money.

Re: F*ing FRUSTRATED with CL Bot Pro
Thanks, guys. I do have an update....
Yuri Finally got back to me (good thing I didn't hold my breath). He asked a few questions, one of them being if I was running Vista.
Before I even responded, I dug out an old machine that runs XP cuz my new shit runs vista.
After a little playing around with it, I got it to work. But it probably takes 1 1/2 - 2 minutes between each post.
Granted...it's an older machine running a 3.4GhZ P4 and 1GB RAM. But still...2 minutes?!
I haven't asked for a refund or disputed charges or anything like that, but it seems that the tide is swinging toward Troopal in these forums.
The chief complaint with CL Bot Pro seems to be the support. If I would have known that Proxy Rotator Add-On only worked with XP (confirmed by Yuri), then I wouldn't have wasted a week dicking around with it. And that should have been the first thing he asked me, if he knew there was a compatability issue.
I'm just pissed off right now. This has cost me money. I am beginnig to regret my decision to go with CLBP.
I want to try a demo of Troopal. I looked on their site and I didn't see a mention of it. Does anyone know if they have a trial version?

I AM HAVING THE SAME EXACT problem as you. I keep telling Yury to just refund my money but have heard nothing back, without the ip rotator I am completely stuck. BTW I HAVE WINDOWS XP PRO, so the fact it works in xp only is false, many other people are having this problem as well. I really do not know what to do anymore.

Re: F*ing FRUSTRATED with CL Bot Pro
Yeah...it froze in XP too. I'm tired of f*cking around with this, and am contacting both paypal and my bank to reverse charges. I asked for a refund and then no response. CLBP needs to be listed on the shit list. This is bullshit.

Re: F*ing FRUSTRATED with CL Bot Pro
I created a dispute with Paypal and am able to escalate it to a claim on the 26th. I doubt they will respond. I am waiting for some scratch to come in and I'm going to by Troopal.

Re: F*ing FRUSTRATED with CL Bot Pro
It's really interesting how the loyalty goes for each of these two posting software packages. And there is nothing wrong with loyalty. If one were to read thru this thread, Troopal would clearly be the choice. But I have seen other threads here recently that have people complaining about customer service and waiting with Troopal. There seems to be no true answer... its what ever works for you and what you are happy with. For me, I really have had no problems with clbot, I have all the add ons i need and I'm making money. And bottom line thats what counts, making bank!

Re: F*ing FRUSTRATED with CL Bot Pro
I just posted the thread: Tips and Tricks to make CL Bot Pro Work. And thanks, BotWiz for the congratulatory post. I am grateful for the help you've given me over the past week.
And Viciousfish...I agree with you 100%. I think perhaps that both solutions work if you know what you're doing, and that both have their issues. I will be thrilled if CLBP continues to work like it did today.
Cheers,
JR
