Why do most of you guys choose CL over Kijiji..???

From my own research i see that the main differences are:

1.Kijiji is txt posting (no HTML). Which makes harder to randomize content, and make unique ads...but, you could still use random text in every message.

2.Kijiji does not need accounts...big plus...

3. Easier to URL block kijiji?

What am I missing? Is it because CL just has more traffic? Whats the bottle neck in Kijiji posting?

That's it, plain and simple. Kijiji can't hold a candle to CL traffic, and that's what it's all about in the end.
I've posted there before and can say that you will likely get very limited response.

The only thing it has going for it is that it's easy as hell to spam on... for now.

kijiji obviously gives good amount of traffic. But the problem is kijiji is so strict than CL in all respect:

• kijiji will block your URLs so quickly
• kijiji will block your IP addresses so quickly
• kijiji will remove all of your postings at once when they can detect you
• kijiji will block your email addresses so quickly

Posting on kijiji from outside USA is almost impossible as almost all the proxy IPs are already permanently blocked by kijiji.

It must be opposite day

I don't buy into the presupposition in this thread's title. Why think "Kijiji vs. CL" when you can be "Kijiji plus CL"?

Yeah, CL gets 40-50x the traffic. But, if CL also has 40-50x the number of ads posted, your response should work out evenly.

That said, I haven't been using Kijiji. I just convinced myself to start though!
