Hypothetically speaking, if I had a script that automatically submitted information to a cpa form, what would the affiliate manager and cpa network check for to ensure that it was a valid submission?

Can they check to see if the email is even registered?
Do they ensure that the IP where the form was submitted matches the state and zip that was entered?

Just curious about these things.

I think you'll find they check a lot more than that. A simple script like that will get you busted in no time.

The script will rotate IP after each submission, as well as spoof the referrer and the OS. It will also send non-converting traffic to the CPA form to bring down the CTR. I will also be getting real white had leads mixed in as well. My CTR will probably be half of the average.

Anything else I am missing? I am mainly concerned they will try to match the IP with the location submitted in the form

If I were running a CPA network I'd check every single IP to see if it's a proxy or not and then verify the geographic location of the IP and refuse payment for IPs that don't qualify.

i've spent the past week with a compliance person from a top network. you morons are nowhere close. i am more than happy to pass on whatever information i can because i can not stand people that defraud networks. they only cause more problems for legitimate people. fuck off and die.

After cooling off and thinking about this objectively, can I petition to get this guy banned by a moderator? He is an obvious threat to everyones security in this forum, as he does have connections with top networks if he wanted to get some of his competition in trouble.

PaperChase, you'll get caught and booted. No network is going to tell an affiliate how they catch fraud - why would the network choose to educate people on how to cheat and steal? So you certainly aren't going to get more than guesses from people here.

I can tell you the #1 thing that will get you caught, that's pretty public domain: YOUR LEADS ARE FAKE! Merchants aren't as stupid as you might think.
