Obviously there's a ton of great info in this section for writing copy and improving conversions. Does anyone know a course that talks more about the design aspects of conversions?

I remember a few years ago I came across a Ryan Deiss course called the "43 Split Tests." Basically they split tested colors, fonts, and other design elements on sites and tested their conversion. It had some great info but came out a few years ago, so I'm wondering if anyone had any suggestions of a more updated course/program/resource.

I'm interested in "Buy Now Buttons," and other factors that can help improve click throughs in the site, or conversions whether that be a purchase or a signup. Thanks ahead of time. ~englandrm

I am thinking of putting together a WSO now for Conversion Optimization and steps to become a solid consultant. I have worked with large companies doing massive Multivariate Testing and Have picked up a lot from the results. Obviously, once I have it up I will share freely with my BH friends. In the meanwhile, you can contact me and I can help you out the best I can.

Nope. "looks in books that go over how to study your audience and TEST out methods of conversion." I dunno, maybe you should go buy a WSO and learn?

Have you read all of Gary Halberts reccommendations?

I think Yanik Silver or carl galetti had something dealing with the colors in their courses? Though, I read neither of their works.

Nice posts..

Obviously different markets are going to vary in click through rates and the design/copy that works best for audience. If you go through that Ryan Deiss book (regardless of your opinion of him), he covers 43 different split test he ran on websites and what kind of changes they made. They included buy now buttons, testimonial boxes, guarantees, headline fonts/colors, and went into a fair amount of detail for those and more. Someone has already done this research, and I wanted to see if there were any resources available (paid or unpaid) sharing that research. I can see what worked for them, and then test/tweak for my own personal audience. I have some old versions of courses, but so many more options are available online now that weren't a few years ago.

Gary Halbert is fantastic, and I'll be looking over that page in sec. I'll go through Yanik's stuff, and although I haven't heard of Carl Galetti Galetti; I'll check him out as well. Thanks for the awesome shares.

Actually just came across this awesome site. ABTests.com

Basically people submit changes they made and the improvement that came with it. From what I can tell, its all free and quite informative.

Search for WizGizmo ebook sales persuasion & conversions downloads, you can get some good knowledge from there.

There is a Conversion Optimization Community Forum called conversionsmack.com where people are sharing tips and experiences. You could find some good material there.

I'm pretty much content with that txt file, it is a good start for people who "don't" read books effectively.

I wholeheartedly recommend BHW member Matthew Woodward's blog.
Since I'm new here, I'm not allowed to link you to his content. But check out his blog(he's #1 on Google for his name) and search for
"How link colour affects conversion split test results". Awesome stuff.
