I run a site in which I "have" or "strongly suggest" that members of my site sign up for select offers from CJ. These offers that I have members sign up for are pretty much "really good matches" and many of my members will most certainly convert for the advertisers, but if any advertiser or AM were to actually look into what I am up to, they would see that I make these "suggestions" and this could have my site confused with an incentive site.

With any other network I would simply blank my referrer, however; I know that CJ, above all networks despise blank referrers and will often ban people for having them. So, I must find a bullet proof way to hide my traffic.

I need it first to work for me; it must be a feasible option. I am very technically inclined and I would hate to create a landing page or blog for EVERY SINGLE offer that I am running. So any suggestion that requires some know how is preferred over tedious long hours of work.

It must work secondly for the visitor. ie: they should not wonder "WTF?" each time I send them to an offer.

Finally it must work for CJ. Like I said, many of the leads that I send them will convert, but if they were to check my traffic, the technicalities of the TOS could become a problem.

Here are a few thought I have had.

Creating a page on my site for each offer that hypes up the offer (Most likely work, but again, due to the nature of my site, an advertiser may complain)

Creating landing pages for each offer and sending traffic through them (LOTS of work that I would not like to do)

Forwarding through domains and calling it search traffic (will only work for a couple of the offers)

Somehow convincing my members that each offer must be emailed (This is un heard of and may scare off some).

Anyway. I really need something that works here. I know that someone here has the perfect solution. That person does not have to share it allowed and may PM me with it. In any case, whoever has that answer can have me on track in as little as a few minutes, so I think a quick paypal of 5 bucks would be sufficient to cover any efforts that may go into answering my question. Thank you all.

iFaker 1.0

V.1.0 - Simple iFrame, Fake Referring URL:

V.2.0 - iFrame, Fake Referrer + Redirect To URL Upon Submit:

V.3.0 - iFrame, Fake Referrer + Hide iFrame Upon Submit:

This is what I would use depending on the offer, But then I am a member of blackhattoolz in my sig.

I think this is what you are looking for. pm Gimme4free if you need more info, but I think this or godcpa may be what you will need as cakeslice will leak referrer [from what others have said].

Would I not still be forced to create a landing page for each offer if I were to use a faker of this nature? Also, IDK about these programs because I have heard of referrer leaks and that would be the LAST thing that I would want to happen. I plan on making A LOT of money with this site and if a referrer is leaked (and a tool of this sort is found on the page) I am screwed.

Also, I would like to point out that I am not doing any CPA method that involves submitting emails or anything of that nature. In fact I think a visitor would find it quite odd if the type of offers that I am sending them to were (framed) on the site and not opened in new windows.

Hi you can do another thing. But its take time. I have registered with CJ by saying them i will be promoting their offers thru incentives. My application has got approved and i am marketing offers thru incentive website. You can create another website and with another application in different name saying that you are going to promote offers for incentive. Sure fire they will approve.

So you no need to worry about blanking the refferals.

This is part of the membership also and something more of what you are looking for i think so you dont have to create pages.

gimme4free will be able to answer more questions about it as I have not used it yet.

I know he tests his stuff as he was helping me test a cs script I purchased before using his service.

[different script than the Ifaker]
This script was requested by a member, it was originally supposed to be just faking the referring URL but I have expanded it into an admin control panel with hit logging and ease of use for faking multiple links to one URL or multiple URL's.

This is a work in progress so there will be constant updates for this, included in the next updates are geo-targetting and improved admin control panel.

Yeah that would work if the type of offers that I am suggesting to my visitors/members were allowed to be incentivized. Like I say, my site is not a true incentive site, (more of a membership site if anything) it just may be confused with one, which is potentially, just as bad.
Thank you for the suggestion though.

@DrJekyll: I checked out the offerings at blackhattoolz and it seems that I can only frame offers and forward them through sites that I am running. Yes this would fake my referrer, but still, I would have to create websites (lPs, whatever) for each offer. I am really hoping to find a way around doing all of that extra work.

Also, I am not looking to frame any offers at all. My visitors (newbs that they may be) would most certainly not understand why the companies (very large and established) that I am sending them to are framed.

Coookie stuffers look cool, but I got that covered.

You could create a URL shortening site like tinyurl. You would have the referrer coming from there and then you would also have another website to monetize.

linuxgeek, the referrer being the url shortening site could easily get you banned, a url shortening site is the last place a cpa network wants your traffic coming from!

Maybe I could set up an autoresponder on the page that they are to complete offers on? I could instantly dispatch an email with the link in it.
Obviously, email marketing is not a bad thing and the referrer would always show up as mail.whatever............ no questions with the affiliate network there I am sure, but it seems like kind of a funny way to do anything on the net when everyone is used to new windows popping up.
I would be worried about what the visitor to my site would think.....

So I guess there is no easy trick? I will have to set up a blog for all of these offers and use CPARedirector to direct the traffic?

Has anyone used this with CJ here? Also, would CJ be investigating the actual site. Should I send fake traffic there to so that I have more impressions and my CTR isn't that high?

It's a way of hiding your traffic source from your Affiliate Manager so that potentially (or blatantly) black hat traffic looks legit.

If you want to know more, I can tell you how to use the search bar......

You could look into Landing Page Builder hxxp://www.simplifiedses.com/

It creates dynamic landing pages based on datafeed products, also features a DMR redirect instead of the landing page.

Look into it.

create a white hat page, something like a blog

so lets say its methodblog.com

add a button on the blog/page to the offer, make sure that the button goes to methodblog.com/clicktrack.html, and make clicktrack.html redirect to the cj offer

then from your bh page, make the button/link go to methodblog.com/clicktrack.html

so cj will see your traffic coming from methodblog.com/clicktrack.html and think that the traffic originated from methodblog.com

So I guess I am going to be building another blog.... that sucks, but if it works, then it works. I thought that there would be a simpler way, but oh well....... thanks everyone.

Another tool you may want to consider is cparedirector or cpaframer.

More info here:

The blog has a ton of great posts. I just discovered and fell in love with it this past week.

Maybe you can find some othe stuff on there.

Anyway, good luck with your efforts!

Abercrombie, my only point is this. If you want to show a referrer and not make a page for each advertiser the only way is by being an incentive publisher. Otherwise they will check your referring page and if it doesn't look legit they will keep your commissions.

I wouldn't recommend CPA Redirector, it doesn't seem to work with CJ for some reason (with me at least)

do u know who won those 5 bucks? some people sell that same question for $499. i would love to see a good reply here!
