No shit! I was banned a ways back for blank referrers (VERY bad at CJ) and I have not used them for about a month or two (because I was banned). Anyway, I have this new site that is a match for mostly programs that are exclusive to CJ. It seems the big dog advertisers want to go with the big dog networks, like Linkshare, Google, and of course, Commission Junction.

Well, banned, banned, banned from CJ I thought (not the others)..... what do I do? Can I get my brother to make an account and have him cash my checks? Can I split some of my profit with another IM (with all of the horror stories I have heard)? Hmmm.

So I went to my favorite BHW bud and explained what I was trying to do, wondering if he knew of other networks that had advertisers that were similar to what I needed, but not a match. Instead of telling me "go to network B", he said, "Well I was banned for cookie stuffing. I just applied again".

"What a fucking concept!", I thought. "I will try it. I will just apply again." Sure enough, I applied, was accepted instantly and now I am promoting again with CJ. Who knew?..... wow!

OK, seriously though, I did not sign up with with the same website that was banned and when they ask for tax ID, I am going to give them my BIZ tax ID and not my social security number (that I was banned with). Other than that, I am fine. This is too simple.

Also: Don't have a tax ID? Getting one is SOOOO easy, it costs like 10 bucks for a DBA at the court-house (the DBA comes with a tax ID).

On another note; I actually feel bad that I tried to black hat with CJ after how honest and up front they had always been with me (for years). I never worried about payment with them. I never worried the advertisers going MIA. I never worried about not being able to get a-hold of an AM or Advertiser. I never worried about anything with CJ.

So I say to anyone banned from CJ, just sign up again, and DO NOT blackhat with them, they are too good at catching people and they are FAR too big and great of a network to loose. For real.

Yes, I did. I did. That may be something to consider, but if you go through CJ accounts so fast that you need to worry about your sign up IP, you may have other things that need to be considered before promoting their offers again.

Very smart idea didnt even think of doin that.

I'm with Cj and find their search engine very annoying, not as simple as maxbounty. what offers are you promoting? i was looking for one page submits and cant find anything worth promoting.

Yes the search can be annoying and the reason that you are not finding email and zip submits is because CJ is kind of the BIG DOG of affiliate marketing, hosting all the big names and they wouldn't waste their time with something of that nature.

Well no. It is a seperate address because I have moved since then (I signed up years ago). I would suggest to anyone that is banned; get an inbox at youre local postal express, get a DBA, and you're golden.......

The problem with getting a LLC and a postal box is that by the time you do all that, you are out $300. so what if you don't get paid anyway and get banned again? that would suck

CJ is my easiest source of WH revenue. I pick a few good advertisers, throw some PPC ads up on Microsoft AdCenter and the dollars start to trickle in.

Nothing big, mind you. But I'm paying .05 and .10 cents a click for offers that pay out $9 and $10 bucks.

Stay away from the dating offers on CJ though. The last few I promoted screwed me out of all of my earnings. Not mentioning any names...Ashley Madison!

Microsoft Ad Center. You'll pay out the ass with g00gle. I have found that while there is less traffic, my conversions are higher on MS AdCenter...and my cost per click is A LOT lower.

Got banned from CJ a few months ago for CSing. I tried everything I could to get back in. Everytime I apply, I get in, but a few days later, account disable. I just gave up.

just to clarify, a DBA and LLC are not the same thing!

DBA - Doing Business As
LLC - Limited Liability Company

If you're banned from CJ, the most inexpensive way to get back in is to get a DBA (again which really means JOHN DOE is DOING BUSINESS AS -his biz name "RAPING CJ" with a DBA you never use ur name always ur biz name, go get a biz banking acct with the biz name then obtain a Tax ID (which is free)

to get a dba, it costs about $140 ($99 for the court paperwork and the rest to publish it in a newspaper) your local newspaper should offer these services

DBA is a cheap 15 dollars at my local courthouse. It simply means that "I" am doing business as "business name". LLC is entirely different and I am not the one to ask about that.
I was not required to publish ANYTHING on it. It also came with a tax ID number, which is like a social security number for a business. Also, a business license will have the networks taking you MUCH more seriously!

The absolute easiest way to handle that is to go get a prepaid debit card. Use that as your bank. It works with direct deposit and everything. Otherwise, you could go through the trouble of setting up your business at a normal bank, in which case the account would be your business name, not yours.

I don't use multiple accounts. I don't know. Again, after getting banned, I am ALL white hate with CJ. Too big a network to loose partnership with IMO.

Don't check online. A DBA costs that to have a lawyer set up. Do it yourself and save 1000%. And don't tell me I'm wrong when I have done it myself and you have not. The forum does not need your thoughts on something you obviously have no idea about).

I have many dealerships with many companies that require a business license in order to work with them and when I signed up, I faxed them my DBA and tax ID info. For example international companies, like Blackhawk and ALS Technologies; They were fine with it.
I am not sure which state you live in or how things work for you. I am just speaking from my experience.

An Employer Identification Number (EIN) is also known as a Federal Tax Identification Number, and is used to identify a business entity, so yes that would work just fine. The easiest way to get and EIN is to apply online. This is a free service offered by the Internal Revenue Service. You must check with your state to make sure you need a state number or charter. As far as CJ goes, use your EIN once you get it and don't use your old address. Get a PO Box, or go to the UPS store and get a "real address" for your business.

I just gave the name of my company. It is attached to my bank account for direct deposit.

I was not sure if I could make up a name so I just used my own again. I'll let you all know what happens when I get a PO Box
