Well, I received this email last week stating that my account was under investigation and CJ needed to know what keywords I use on my sites, etc. 5 minute later I was banned and received this email:

This letter shall serve as notice that your publisher account has been terminated and removed from the Commission Junction Network and transactions may be reversed ("charged-back"). This termination and removal is the result of non-bona fide transactions performed on your account in violation of the Commission Junction Publisher Service Agreement you agreed to follow. Non-bona fide transactions include, but are not limited to, false, self inflated, and/or duplicate leads or transactions.

You are not eligible to rejoin the Commission Junction Network and any attempt to do so shall be null and void.

I was pissed! I wrote them immediately and bitched that I was being falsely accused and sent them keywords showing my rankings in the search engines.

I never received a reply but today noticed that my account had been reinstated with all funds still there.

To make a long story short, if you get your accounts banned, instead of cryin' about it, take action!! Make sure to write them a professional email stating that you have no idea what the hell they are talking about and that you have done everything 100% legit and demand reinstatement.

Congratulations, i had the same problem and got my account reinstated too, but with EPN was a different story they never replied to the tons of emails i sent and kept around $2000 for their fat A$$

Haha, nice job man, definitely a good reason never to give up. I think it's rather hilarious that you never received a response but just got your account reinstated.

i just got my cj account reinstated too, although it took me somewhere in the order of about 30 emails. =)

similar thing happened to me back when I was CS-ing with sh0pping ads

I didn't give up until my account got reinstated and got my profits

i got my account reinstated in a single mail wowowwww! , the thing is that i dont have any balance to get paid...LOL

Once i got banned from CJ to because of Hostgator. They told me that my leads were fraud. I showed them my free hosting service and hosting review blog. Next day my account was back and i got paid.

Wow, I cant believe that. They once closed my account due to me being unactive but I got it reopen. This was years ago though.

i have just been sent a 15 day notice cos i was blocking my keywords [that what i told them, i'm cookie stuffing]

need to try and get my money out of the account before i lose it.
i'm contacting them about to try and save my account

i also had a simular problem with webcams.com. they said the traffic i sent them werent spending enough time on their site and that they were lowering my payout.
i sent a few replies saying that once they signed up it was down to the site to keep them coming back.
that campaign was legit ppc.

CJ pulls this crap on a lot of people. I wonder if they give the funds back to the advertiser when they kick a member out, or do they keep the money? Maybe this is their way of not paying the little people. If they kicked out 1,000 memebers with $10 in their accounts each I bet CJ keeps that money, I wonder?

Exactly, and unfortunetely this is all too common nowadays with networks. Depending on the payout involved I would usually tell them where they can stick it...and move on to another network

I always give up some. That's why it's good to have some WH marketing. Think about it...

If you have an account at a network that's making you bank, wouldn't you rather just give them some proof to save you all the hassle and your money?

Then you don't have to bother getting accepted to another network, you save your current account that's making you bank, and everything is fine.

my last cj account got banned, they wouldnt reinstat me, but i got the money in the end.

i havejust got another email from them about ending my account. this time i was faking my cookie stuffingefforts this time.
i was faking it with a auto blog that is getting raked so i can show them some of them.

see how i go with that.

if only i did something with my epn accounts. when they banned me. might see if i can get my last account back. got that one banned about 3 weeks ago.

If only Adsense where as lenient!

I got knocked out of CJ because they felt that some of the users in a forum on one of my sites might use four letter words and be gothic. I was upselling gothic clothing, so I wrote them. They stood their ground on the ban. I've never signed up again.

Yeah CJ is pretty responsive when you gripe to them. They monitor twitter too, so bitch about your issue over twitter and you'll soon get some action.

This almost sounds like they block you just so they can get your keywords/lander/method/whatever. Bullshit.

i dont get it, aren't affilates pay you after they had a sale ?
so why the hell do they care how we get the customer to buy it ?

Can you write the letter you have send just to have the idea..

Yeah, I did the same thing when Egay banned my EPN account and they wouldn't even respond back to me. I lost X,XXX dollars.

I've had a 3 affiliate accounts go this way in the past, and 2 of them got reinstated after a professionally worded email was sent (there was no denying the third one - got caught redhanded).

The moral is never ever 'just let the money go' - it's yours after all!

Congrads, you lock your jaws on those guys and don't ever let them weasel. I've been dealing with CJ for years and years....and years. I was literally one of the 1st affiliates they had when they went live and I had been cheated many times. Of course the administration has undergone reform many times since then and I have no idea what they are like today. I think I'll try them again.
