Banned From CJ for posting links on ebay
I am very new to the affiliate marketing world, I have always made money online but through tradition methods like selling on ebay, amazon and using freebie networks. I signed up with Commission Junction a few months back and kinda skimmed the TOS. Anyway after earning about $500 in commissions (havent received a dime) I got an email saying my account has been closed and I may lose my commissions for posting affiliate links and getting sales from ebay listings. Had I fully read the TOS I would have seen that this is not allowed. I am not trying to get my commssions back, if I violated a policy then thats that, learned from mistake and will move on.
My question is, I was just starting to like Affiliate Marketing, and I know there are other places to do this but I hate to lose Commission Junction if there is a way to get my account reinstated or open a new account. I dont want to use someone else's name or address.
Does anyone know if Commission Junction will allow me to open another account in my name, address, and tax payer info? Or is there a way to get re-instated?
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Before you try anything like using a fake address I would call them and tell them exactly what you just wrote. If you are convincing (and being honest) they may give you a second chance. Maybe.

I'd recommend contacting them playing a bit dumb about the terms etc and see if they let you continue.
If not, use a sisters, brothers, fathers details instead

I would not waste my time to get my account reinstated...
What's your successful rate to get like Adsense account back after the ban? I doubt it
You can get a new account with CJ at anytime, just use all different infos, i mean, another identity

signup for a new account switching your first name with the last, change address a bit like if it was 2534 sunset boulevard.. use 2534 sunset blvd.
different email. %100 guaranteed to work
(tested already)

Re: Banned From CJ for posting links on ebay
So do you post ur Cj affiliate link directly on Ebay or you send traffic from Ebay to a website that contain Cj affiliate links ?

Re: Banned From CJ for posting links on ebay
Well I was doing both, I was sending links to customers who bought from me to my website which redirected to my affiliate link but I also had direct affiliate links in my ebay listings. I dont know a way around this, not really technically savy. Im sure its something easy, im sure if you post a new thread asking for details on how to do this and not show ebay in the link path, someone witg more knowledge will respond. If you find out let me know
