Not every time but if you are breaking their TOS then better hide your ASS... If you are not doing any thing wrong (according to their TOS) then you don't have to worry about it. They can check from their system... It will show them referral website...

If every thing OK but quality is low then advertiser will only choose to close relationship with you... BTW they don't ask every time only when they feel some thing fishy or if sudden spike in traffic or volume... They may also ask if they find no referral website in their system...

Why would you need to hotlink in the first place?

What if you set the images on any of theses free file hosts and link from there, even if the images are exact knowck-offs from the original sales-page?

Would that solve your problem?
