I'm working with a blog that gets 600-2500 hits a day. Running 4 banners, Ashl*yMadis0n, Bi$troMd, Bu$tedTees and nothing except ashl*ymadis0n is getting clicked on. Todays stats were 3,500 impressions and 3 clicks? Am I doing something wrong here?

Why not placing crazyegg or clicktale in your blog in order to take a look what are your visitors clicking or looking at? this could give you a hint to solve your problem

Try Google Analytics out. Study your visitors behavior for a week or two. See where they are coming from, who they are, etc. Ask yourself, "How can I target them?" once you have.

Take what you know about them, find something you think they may like and implement it into your site. It will be trial-by-error and may take a while, but the payout will be good once you know what they may be looking for is.

How are you generating all this traffic?

If you purchased this traffic then thats your problem.

I cant see how even if you are using a very bad layout website that all those visitors finding your site via google - and no one will convert

Your traffic is definately untargeted.If you can find where your traffic is coming from,then you can put the proper offer up and cash in.

These are impressions not unique visitors. Try any indipendent stat counter like google analytics. Banners don't count visitors very well. If you have 10 pages and someone visits all 10 pages then the banner will count these as 10 impressions but they are not unique visitors. Also with GA or any other stat counting service you will see where your visitors come from.

I know where they come from.. social bookmarking, networking, and google. I also have analytics set up, that was just a screen of CJ reports.

In reality you got around 662 views if you have multiple banners....Never count views they don't "count"

Maybe your offering them the wrong product. Seeing on your bounce rate, and average time on site, your visitors only passes site and not spending a little more time. Have you tried putting on adsense in there? With that 1000+ visits, adsense will convert good.

Google adsense denied my app, due to language and adult content, even though it has no porn or nudity (the nudity is covered up) on it.

If its adult content try loudmo's adult landing page. I'd bet people will click on free porn.. Definitely better than general stuff like busted ts.

that range is crazy. Is the traffic all organic? so much traffic and no conversions? something doesnt make any sense.

some is organic and the rest comes from social bookmarking, youtube, and social networking.

adult traffic is hard to convert.
Teenage boys and elderly freaks aren't really loking to buy anything nor pay for pussy.Most likely they are looking for a freebies. Try some offers that offer risk-free or better yet FREE things.

youll get a better conversion if the traffic is targeting keywords relevant to the banners and the content/lander encourages the users to click on the banners thru a review, a discount, a free trial or something

I think your traffic is not targeted. However, I was facing same problems .... I was promoting an iPad competition and I got thousands of visitors, but very few conversions ... most people are really lazy, it is too much work for them to fill in their name and email address for the chance to win a $400 item ...

I have a page that I created. can use some advice on how to make money with it. It's a something I wrote about pregnancy and I have all kinds of banners on the page surrounding it... problem right now is the banners have nothing to do with what i wrote, I'm hoping in a few days it will find the niche and start showing ads relavent to my article. I'm glad that AM is not converting - that site is garbage and I feel bad for those that would even want to make money on it. I'm sure you are crossing your fingers hoping it's not you being cheated on...

As far as the rest goes, that is a lot of visitors to not have sales. Do you have too many ads?

Feature a blog post about one of your ads and see if that helps. Placement is also key.
