And if i need to fill it out what is the id?
Like what is it and where do i find it?

there are no stupid questions.. only stupid answers ;-)

No, you don´t have to fill in a id or something... Just take the ref link as you get it from your network/advertiser.

Should look something similar like:

Code:

<a href="http://www.ALOT OF TEXT & NUMBERS...width="1" height="1" border="0"/>

and copy & paste that wherever you need it. Thats your ref. link, plain and simple.
