I was recently banned by CJ for being an inactive publisher and was making 500/day with the GoPro digital camera merchant a couple months ago. I'm willing to do a 55-45 split because I'm desperate for cash at the moment. I tried calling client support and THEY STILL DIDN'T LET ME BACK INTO THE NETWORK.

Okay, how were you making 500/day but you were inactive. CJ only bans users that have not made money for few months.

I am thinking he was probably banned because of BH methods. That makes absolutely no sense, hopefully you can clear that up. Until then I would wait people, your account will probably be banned too.

Something is def. fishy here. I found that offer in CJ to check out the details and when you click on the webpage for them it gets redirected to different websites with an affiliate code in the url string.

Bullsh*t. CJ just temporary "in-activate" your account. You could re-activate back easily, I've done that.

As you've said yourself, CJ bans you if you don't market for 2-3 months, as was the case for me. The numbers I stated I was making was back when I was using this network. Now, I've gotten a small media buying budget and want to revisit the opportunities there.

To whoever said that the GoPro website is not working, it is doing the same thing for me.

I been a member of CJ since Aug of 2009 and have not used the account cause i was concentrating on other ventures, been login in to my account the last couple of days and i seems to be working fine, by the way I have never made a penny from the account. Something must of happen for you to get band and if you are making 500 unless you are doing something weird I don't see why they would band you.

I didnt make any money with CJ for 5 months, they deactivated my account but you can log back in and reactivate it afterwards.

They dont ban you at all, where you getting that crapola from?

They ban you because you have violated the rules, not because you are inactive.

I haven't used my CJ account for 6 months or so. Just logged in and it is still active. I smell a rat...

This can,t be right cj is just one of many affili networks i am a member of ,i dont use my cj account ,i prefer affil window,so i checked my old acc it its still up after a year, in fact the site i registered with them, the domain ran out over 9 mths ago,

I never used my CJ account for months and then went back to the site and my account was deactivated. It took just a couple of clicks to reactivate it though. Its one thing getting your account deactivated and another getting banned! Fishy.

how can a person be making $500 then suddenly inactive and got banned not possible .
cj makes accounts inactive and can be deactivated within minutes but it will never ban for such a silly reason.something fishy goingon

I hear you...I registered mine since early 2009 and never used it since then. I just reactivated just while ago..went for breakfast and its active now...definitely fishy!

i have inactive cj account,too... but after a week im contact them, until now my account not yet reactivate, how i can contact them to make my account active again?

As stated in above replies, this is fishy. I have had an account there for over a year and only made a few bucks, I never got banned. My account is more active now considering the Pay per call program now though. I did get a response to one of the CJ advertisers asking about my high call volume and how am I advertising. He claimed if I did not respond in 48 hours my account with him would be terminated. Of course I responded and explained my advertising campaigns and everything is cool now.

Only thing, i forgot my email password too, and had to change the email there too.
It got reactivated. Just all the old sites which i had added in list and who had accepted me, many were not there, else account was reactivated without much ado.

its best once you have several account to create a spreadsheet and keep a good track of what of what your are doing another good way to have a form of back up is to use gmail and forward all emails to one account that way you can find old email and just check who is sending the message and to what account.
