Re: PPV on Commission Junction
No. If you even mention Adbrite, Mediatraffic, Trafficvance any of it, they'll suspend your account immediately for unauthorized 3rd party traffic.

Re: PPV on Commission Junction
So is there any way of getting around it other than blanking the referrer?

Re: PPV on Commission Junction
blanking the referrer will not help you. CJ will ban on blank referrers. Also PPV throws dirty UA's that will get you banned almost instantly.

Re: PPV on Commission Junction
yes, the UA is another issue. Ebay looks at UA more then most people though. I don't think CJ does nearly as much.

Re: PPV on Commission Junction
Just a note from someone with experience in this area, it's not necessarily CJ themselves who will ban you, but the individual advertisers, especially the bigger ones, watch this stuff like a hawk. They also have computers with MediaTraffic, TrafficVance, etc adware installed on it so they can monitor their URLs.

Umm, yes they do.
They will ban you at the drop of a hat if they even see one dirty ua slip through.

Re: PPV on Commission Junction
I know this is an old thread.... but I'm new here... :-)
Couldn't you just take the PPV traffic and send it to a landing page your site, and then direct those people to the CJ offer? yes, you will not get everyone to click through a second time, but you would be staying within the advertisers' TOS, no?
