So I'm a newbie and i just started with CJ, i was using craigslist for traffic these past few days not knowing it wasn't allowed at CJ. I wasn't linking directly to my CJ links, but was using a landing page hosted on my main page. I wasn't thinking, and i didn't remove the tracking pixel on my landing page. So all my traffic is obviously from cl, and the referrers on their tracking pixel will clearly state CL. What do you think the odds of my commission behind withheld are? Think I'll be banned? I only got one sale out of a little over 1k clicks.. Do they flag accounts, to not report sales? Pretty sure i should have hit more than one sale, it's extremely targeted and the price is right.

I think CJ will ban the member if the conversation too low

In the future it's best to hide the referrer on all of your promotions.

Unlikely, CJ will only step in once you are on a commission roll. Its good to stay under the radar with CJ.

Relax. The tracking pixel will show your landing page as the referring page. Images show the page that contains them as the referring page. Tracking pixels are just for CTR and are not a way of determining the source of traffic to your landing page.

So where you linking to your landing page on craigslist?

cj will find you on cl. they found me. they banned me and refused to pay. i used a landing page too.

just be certain you ARE NOT blanking the referrer. CJ is infamous for removing publishers from their network who do not provide referrers.
