Default RSSevolution review and "how to"

Saw where somebody asked for this, this is just my opinion, and how I do it, so take it for what it is.

My review of automated content builders. My goal is to build optimized sites quickly.

I have researched at a couple. Including hypervre, adsense cash machine and a few others which have fallen by the wayside. Hypervre, looked like it would be pretty good, but had so many errors and locked up that it got dropped and I ended up with rssevolution. These programs all basically allow you to scrape feeds for content, then via “tokens” you can mix up the information enough to create very large optimized sites quickly. Pretty slick for the price. The code LUCKYYOU2175690 gives you 20% off if you buy it. (You can find it free here if you search) I bought it for support, and I needed some questions answered.

The key to the process and making it work is editing your html templates so that you do not leave a footprint. You should have some html knowledge and it will take a day or 2 of experimenting, and then you can whip up some fairly content rich sites of a few hundred to 1000's of pages in under an hour and their titles are key word rich.

The process is straight forward. 1. Name the project, 2. Input feeds, (they have dropdowns or you can manually add your own) 3) Input Keywords, 4) Load your html templates 5) Put in outbound links if you want 6) Put in Text Units (see below) 7) Generate Pages does html, htm, php

There is a function called text units which lets you write some sentences or paragraphs of text with your keyword in there, and randomly picking that to drop into your pages. Very strong. And the better you do with that the more human your pages are. Put some time into this and then you can copy/paste for each project and it makes some unique content.

My process for getting rid of the footprint and making the site more human is 1. rename the header.jpg file. 2. Change the copyright info. 3. Edit the post Mask file (you have to read the manual on this) 4. edit adsense code. (that's for money ) 5. Add in my text units

Optionally you can add in more graphics if or change their graphics if you would like. I put a no follow on their rss feeds, but that is just my choice.

As far as revenue. You have to drive the traffic, but these sites have proper titles, H1's and tags, so it is up to you.

They also have a program called Content Solution which will let you create your own RSS feeds based on different scrapes (articles, SE's) , and you can rewrite the articles easily and use the whole articlen not just the snippet, am researching that right now.

My goal, and I am doing it, is a site a day with my old domains that are not making money parked.

    Good luck!

i've been checking out other testimonials and case studies from RSSevolution owners...and they were pretty much getting slammed and de-indexed by google. I guess launching a 2000 page site in a day...is a footprint in itself. theres this one dude on the forum, that says he has some type of autogenerated sitemap php function. Basically he'll generate a 3-5K page site of scraped content uploaded on his server, and based on the date, his sitemap grows and includes links to the pages. Then he pings it. sounds like a clever idea...set it and forget it. Just dont know php enough to have a sitemap grow and uncover 4000 pages in about 2 years, all on autopilot.

Hey, where did you see that? halfagain? that is where I looked, I think if you don't edit your templates, and just produce you will get slammed. Play it safe, be careful, and I would guess you would be OK, but if it is a different forum, I would like to read it also.

i think it was the halfgain forums.

but the way most RSSE owners get screwed by google with their site or with their adsense account is making a 3000 page site live overnite.

Yeah, gotta say that is dumb, and the site probably looked crappy, and was nothing but their template, adsense, and feeds. Deserves to be slammed. Kind of why I laid out the game plan in the original post. RSS Evo, has the stuff to make it easy. I did get a separate account to host all of these sites, so it won't effect any of my other sites. . . again play it safe.

I'm trying to use RSSe combined with content solution and I'm having a nightmare!

When generating pages, the file names are snippets of the rss feeds themselves - way too long! I attempted to change the title of some of the articles in CS to Keyword - but that isn't helping.

I suppose I should just use google, yahoo and the other public feeds instead.

Does it matter to SEO if the file lengths are really long?

this is an example of how long they get:

    get-out-of-debt-quickly-can-be-a-problem-blah-blah-blah-this-is-very-very-very-long-file-name-I-need-to-shorten-this-is-this-becsause-I-have-taken-too-much-viagra-which-is-why-I-cant-shorten-these.php

I would rather have filenames this size:

    bad-debt.php
    buy-viagra.php

    Any thoughts?

I have, and used rssevolution, blogsolution, and rssmagic these methods no longer work they only work if you have in place a sure way NOT to get google to kick your ass.

Mass generated sites (MAF) were designed to make adsense money fast and with little work.

Those days are gone, you can still make very good money with adsense, it just akes a bit more time, work and patience....

Sapmi, I know and feel your pain, the answer is to use the rewriter part to rewrite the title. The title is what makes the url. . . . and if you put [keyword] in the title, it will generate quite a bit of pages, because you can use the keyword function when you output your feed. ie [keyword] cell phones are superb. Took me about 4 days to figure that out!!

So now we are one year later and I wonder what happened to
rliddle's one-page-a-day-project? Did it work out? Became it profitable?
Is rliddle rich now? Just curious.

RSS evolution is dead in the water, those methods no longer work on their own.
