Hello,

I am new to this site, but so far the reading has been excellent! My questions, has anyone here used Search Engine Cloaker, and how are your results?

I am currently using it on 2 domains, it has helped on one and not the other.

Any feedback would be great!

I have Search Engine Cloaker, but I haven't used it in a while. I have the full license with all the add-ons and when I did use it, a couple of years ago, it seemed to get some good rankings and traffic. I changed my hosting provider and never got around to re-installing it since then and that was about 2 or 3 years ago.

I'd be interested to know of anyone's recent experience with Search Engine Cloaker - is it still effective?

From what I recall, the basic function of Search Engine Cloaker is to provide content to the search engines that has a high keyword density. Of course, that content would look ridiculous to a human viewer, so humans are shown your actual page content, instead of the rigged-up content meant only for the search engines.

The main reason I'd like to know of anyone's recent experience with Search Engine Cloaker is that it doesn't do anything for links. It just supplies the search engines with high keyword density pages, dynamically created. But, as most knowledgeable people would agree, the search engines look at other factors in addition to just page content.

Does anyone have any recent experience they can share?

I did find one way to help with the links. Since you can create static pages for the search engines, I did some links to them on all my pages. If I recall you can create 75 static pages. I added the links at the bottom is very fine text. Of course, if they are clicked they go to my main page.

hmmm... Peter Bray has some good stuff, I have and use SEC, I have had new sites spidered by google within 1 hour using SEC and sites indexed less than 3 days there as well.

now I've moved on to Fantomas Shadowmaker ( I still like SEC simplicity ) but Fantomas Kicks ass once you know how to use it....I just passes the steep learning curve on FS...

I have SEC and i really love working with it, it is very important to have good content, i ise something that looks like the jellybeans system, it is not the greatest job and time consuming to build the content but it is worth it imho, most of my sites are in the index for adult phrases for months now.

Also don't use a huge keyword list (no more then 500 keywords) and always use a fresh template, make it look like a site with images and some links out to authority sites, if you do it right you could have a lot a fun with SEC.

I bought it about 6 months ago, to be honest since I have installed it I really haven't noticed much difference. I'm going to put it on a different domain and try another niche...maybe I'll have better luck with that.

SEC sites have moved on immensely over the last 6 months.

If you have SEC you MUST check out EWI (Express Website Installer).

Just checkout the SEC forum and look at the EWI Thread.

Churns out Top quality cloaked sites - so good you can leave them in TEST mode with Ads on them. EWI includes content re-writer with synonym database - superb tool for $25 a month.

Thanks I appreciate this. I have a marketing site that is niche specific for my field but is has been very hard to get ranking. SEC didn't do much to help it. It did do wonders for my primary site however.

Great info, thanks again!

IS content will be created automatically by using the template itself? Are we have to do the custom action

I have heard of it, but i like to build with my own methodes, am kinda funny that way.

why keep it under 500?

Because if you put out a site of more then 500 pages Google is going to red flag you, the way i do it now is i take number of keywords between the 80 and 125 start promoting that and when they are all listed in the index i ad 75 more keywords and when they are listed i ad 75 more until i reach a number below the 500 pages.

I fund that small sites (and for a old RSSGM user 500 pages is really small) stay longer in the index, note that you need good content that is key. the better the content the longer you stay up.

Another small tip take it easy with getting backlinks to your site, make it look natural (10K comment spam backlinks is not natural and = red flag) i promote my cloackers like i promote my wh sites, because that last longer and rank better.

I hope this explains it

...or use EWI which is very nice tool.

Could be i don't know i like the way i work with my own system, it is not about how fast you can crank out sites, it is the quality of your sites and i have some doubts about that with EWI

I have Search Engine Cloaker, with all the addons available, and I see from this thread that several other people also have SEC. But what I don't see is anyone saying that they're actually making money of even generating substantial traffic because of using SEC.

As most everyone knows, the search engines frequently change their ranking algorithms (I always have trouble spelling that word), so what works one month may not work the next month.

It used to be that if you had keyword rich pages, you could get high rankings. I think that SEC helped a great deal in this area. But then, the search engines changed and started also looking a incoming links from other sites. Those incoming links seemed to have more importance in ranking than just having a lot of keywords.

Is there anyone out there that's seeing positive results that they can actually attribute to SEC?

Thanks!

Yes i do, i have about 25 sec sites and they are doing very well and some of them even got PR1, you need to tread them as real sites when it comes to promoting and you have to make sure that your content is good.

I like to be "scientific" when experimenting with it so I get it right. So far I'm awaiting results.

Hi Guys,

Okay this thread is a bit old now, however I was wondering if anyone is still using Peter Brays SEC?

Clearly we're a few years down the road, so is there anything better around now?

Thanks in advance for any feedback
